Feeling Lucky This St. Patrick's Day!
St Patrick’s day is here! Do you have your green on?
Here in our hometown of Chicago, St. Patrick’s Day has to be the biggest celebration that brings the city outdoors and gets people festive! While Chicago’s festivities are not the largest in the US, they are definitely the most popular. Are we biased? Maybe so... But we weren't ranked as the #1 city for St. Patty’s for two years straight (according to WalletHub) for no reason! We Chicagoans, know how to come together as a community and celebrate. After enduring long tough winters together, we love to share our hope and optimism for spring. While this year has been a little different because of the pandemic, people can still enjoy seeing our beautiful green river flow – whether it be through a window, via screens, or seeing it in person during a walk.
St. Patrick’s Day can also be celebrated at home easily! Bake some shamrock cookies, wear that cute green outfit, pull out some green decor at home and take those pics and vids to share!
Here at In-Sattva, we have so many reasons to celebrate! We are grateful for our team, our amazing product collections, and of course our beloved customers. This time marks our 10th anniversary. We currently have a gorgeous new green clothing and home goods collection that’s perfect for St. Patrick's Day and this season!
Speaking of clothing, I love In-Sattva’s green-toned fashion line for St. Patty’s day celebrations and beyond! There are so many pieces that are 100% cotton which speak to my desire to be an eco-conscious person. Cotton is comfortable, sustainable, and biodegradable.
One thing that caught my eye immediately is the Harem Pants in Green. I own a few of these harem pants and they are sooo comfortable! The drawstring make them easily adjustable and the comfortable fit of the garment make them perfect to lounge around in or dress up. They are 100% cotton which means they are light and convenient for spring weather. I love to do yoga in them, dress up in them with a kurta tunic, or make them casual by pairing with a crop top.
Another item (that I find so useful in the kitchen) is an apron. This beautiful Boho Apron keeps my clothes safe from spills, looks super cute, and an on-trend green for this season! The apron works so well for St. Patty’s and spring. It is 100% cotton with sleek little frills and a wide pocket perfect for holding any utensils that I need.
During spring, I love to change up my clothing and ‘spring clean’ my house. I donate old clothing, clean out any extra clutter, and make room for pieces that bring me joy. A few things that bring me joy from In-Sattva's home collection are the Bohemian Print Napkin Set and the Solid Table Runner in green. These set a calming tone at the dinner table and spiritually connect me to nature.
The Bohemian Print Napkin Set is a very colorful, trendy piece that is perfect for me and my family. I love reusable, quality materials and the cloth is ideal to clean up spills, convenient to wash, and just a cute decorative piece to complement my dining set.
The Solid Table Runner in green is another piece that is bright and vibrant. Its multipurpose use is another factor that appealed to me. It can be used on my dining table as a table runner or on my dresser as a cute scarf to line the top.
As you can see, I’m very excited about St. Patrick’s day and the spring season. There are so many ways to celebrate and I love that In-Sattva makes it easy and convenient for me. Wherever you are this season, make it a time for new beginnings... Get your green clothes out and have a good time!
May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow, and may trouble avoid you where you go.
With joy,
Lalitha and the Team at In-Sattva
