"Hmm, this absence has been quite the unfortunate event. Nonetheless, I will not be perturbed and have a gift as my first act of getting into the swing of things. While I would normally need a risk taken to inscrybe, the nature of the receiver has made gathering smaller risks quite easy. I hope you enjoy the gift my Dear Seer~"
Oh man, it has been a while. I meant to send this away much earlier, but my absence has left it stagnant. No worries, here is some Chance flavored madness for my friend @inscryption-new-generation
Lux, we've talked before haven't we. I do thank you heartily for the gift, and I can assure you, while i don't have too much to offer, a friend is making a return gift.
*Dusts the cobwebs off the blog*
Hello. We have...returned?
Would you like to know the legend of shantae, the half genie hero Alexander? Signed the red autistic anon
I would love too.
Hey Alexander, how’s the Makoto Naegi card coming along? Signed the red autistic anon
Oh, hey, haven't seen you in forever. It's very different, we've got three new scrybes for example.
Here's your card.
Makoto Naegi, 2/3 with Lucky. 50% chance to not take damage from attacks.
Hey, Mycologists. We've always just been calling you "Mycologists", but... do you have an actual name? Or, uh, names?
Yes, our names were Sew and Stitch, according to the OLD_DATA. Feel free to use them, or to continue calling us The Mycologists, it doesn't matter to us.
hey alexander, who was Chantel Bowlden? that card seems to show up quite often, especially first turns. (PS I may just lurk, but this ask blog is one of the coolest I've ever seen!)
Chantel was the first person on the island, other than us. Makes sense he’s always there, he had a knack for being right there when you need him
Is Grace Torres The Dark
oh my god someone other than emo-bunny sent an ask, sound the bells
I can neither confirm nor deny this, but the person most likely to know is them.

A Quick Check-In
E.B catches up with his old friend.
After a while, E.B heads towards the exit.
"Suppose I ought to go see the other two. See you around, Kthnaid."
Same here, I hope.
E.B heads to Alexander’s domain, deciding to save Forte for last.
Hello, Ethan
“Hello, Alex! How’s everything been with you?”
It’s been, like everone else, going quite well
“Haha, kind of figured. Feels nice to ask individually though, ya know?”
“Say, whaddaya say to us having a friendly duel? For old tim- er, like before?”
Heheheheh, yeah, of course!
*Chantel Bowlden far left*
E.B places down Grace Torres on the far left and ends his turn.
*5 damage, ya win*
Ah, damn
“Wow, I forgot how strong Grace was. Sorry for killing the fight before it even really took off, Alex.”
Nah, it’s great, Grace was also good at ending fights quickly, helps me remember her, heheheh.
“Wait, you knew Grace? As in, she was real? As in, she came here on the island at some point???”
Yeah, a previous challenger, well, I say challenger, but she was more like you, just hanging out with us all. She was one of the first, and sadly fell ill after helping Kthnaid with some things. I remember he refused to leave his tower for months after that, and I think they still can’t get over her death, being they caused it and all. Kthnaid’s game became much more dull afterwards… Anyways I made her story into a card, the one you hold now. Well, that one’s a replica, the original is in a room somewhere she often stayed on the island.
E.B recalled how Kthnaid’s campaign mostly had battles and card choices, and lets out a small “ah.”
“So that’s what Kthnaid meant when he said some of his old nodes had adverse effects.”
“Sorry about what happened to your old friend. Were most of the cards in this deck people who visited the island often?”
All of them actually. Chantel was my first challenger, Roxanne was the first to beat me. They aren’t just mine either, Roman was the first challenger for Scu.
E.B nods along to Alex’s talking, and then pauses for a moment, wondering if he should ask the question in the back of his mind, before proceeding anyways.
“Are… are all of them dead?”
Uhhhhh, no?
“Okay, just checking.”
Well that was a relief. Man, he got worried over the weirdest things.
*sigh of relief*
Well, anymore questions?
“… Hmm. Just one, to confirm something I’ve been suspecting. Know anybody by the name of Rorrim?”
No, was that the weird guy that popped out of the stone?
“Eh, one of the two, yeah. We don’t have to worry about the second one anymore, though.”
“He’s here on the island, actually. Down in between Scu and Kthnaid’s zones. Though I’m not sure if he wants to be known all that much, if he hasn’t made an effort to say hi.”
Could just be busy working on cards though. Hmm.
Oh, yeah, that guy. He’s just been trying to make a card for three days
“Ah. Yeah, apparently he’s only been able to make Nothing. Hope things work out for him.”
“Anyhoo, sorry to spring that question on you out of nowhere. I was just wondering if anyone knew he was here, since Scu hadn’t recognized the name and I, uh, forgot to ask Kthnaid.”
Kthnaid knows, Kthnaid knows everything.
“… True.”
“Well, suppose I oughta get going. Still got one more friend to visit. See you around, Alex.”
See you.
