A wild horse-like rhinocerotoid from the far steppes. Domestic and wild, used for everything from plowing fields to warfare; they spread alongside mankind, and farther still.

A dog, probably a mastiff, in a second-millennium BCE figurine. Mastiffs like this were a frequent subject of Mesopotamian art. Some of the paint that originally decorated the dog is still visible.
