I'm really into Unstable Universe (UUSQUIDDO COME HOMMMMMEEEEE) and Lifesteal and run a RP Squiddo account. I am also really into The Flight SMP. (Heh can you find the key YouTuber I like in these? difficulty IMPOSSIBLE). But I am also a chronic never caught up on anything so its best to assume that I have NOT seen any of the most recent videos of any of these SMPs TT

ANYWAY.
Before we get my yapping here is the list of my top three favourite songs (yes this was really hard to pick):

The chanting is great, song is very head bang-ie, drums are great, and I enjoy the rythem and beat a lot. Shouting is also good. Quote on quote from first listen "that was fucking peak and amazing"
The lyrics are also very good, and I really like the message, its generalised but also feels specific to a few generalised issues as well. If that makes sense ?

Windfall
The sudden "fuck" always makes me chuckle its just very sudden but its good. The rythem of lyrics is really good i like them.

Bleeding Heart
I enjoy the heavy landing beats of this one, its a good sing along and use hairbrush as a microphone in the bathroom song. The vocals are really really good on this one, especially the higher notes and trills god they are so beautiful his voice sounds almost angelic in some parts. It contrasts nicely with the heavy stomping almost beats of the song. The song itself reminds me a lot blues / Jazz. The instrumental part of very good, specifically the drum fills (im a drummers so maybe Im biased.) Near the end when the backing tracks drops out so the vocals and a little faint bit of piano/synth are all that's left is great. This and when it the drums come back is so fucking amlovely AND THEN. FUCKING AND THEN THE GUITAR AHHHHHHH i love the guitar part of this song. The sax also goes hard in this one

I like the guitar / bass for this one. It reminds me a bit of Rivers is a vampire by bear ghost in a way. Anyway yeah good song, good lyrics, good beat, not much to write off about. It's good but not outstanding too me.

Conversations
Same as with Young Blood, Conversations is good/decent but for me personally there isnt anything to write off about. Its slower, softer, gentle almost. Its good, I enjoy it but its not a song I usually seek out out of all their tracks. However- ! I think this song is really good as chilling music, background music, vibe music etc and it specifically reminds me of / makes me picture sitting on a hill or in a field with a friend and watching the sunset. The song really. Feels like a sunset and a hug or nice conversation. Its comforting in a way.

Scrub
Scrub is a funny one, when the pre release of it came out I actually wasnt the biggest fan of it but relistening to it has made me like it more and more. The lyrics and meaning are great, the rythem is nice, I love the drum beat of it and the more acoustic / softer guitar. Also the featured singer, Chloe-Beth is lovely. The over message of the song is about the music industry I dont want to just vomit out someone else's words So Id recommend reading the 'ABOUT - song bio' on genius, >here< its really interesting and very short. Anyway its a good Chillax song as well, something nice to hum.

Upper first listening to this song with a friend I messaged:
Anyway getting onto the actual conversation, All I can do has a BANGER intro, really good stuff its great. The instrumental parts are fucking peak, the pauses, the vocals it has everything. THE SAXOPHONE dont even get me started on the Sax during or specifically at the end or start of this song. The song continusly builds up and falls back down and its great. This one also goes back to the more usually Jazz / rock of JMPB, I think one could argue it could have blues influences but I think that may be a stretch. Oh also the drums and melody/rythem also go hard in this one.

My Best Girl
This one is once again good but not one I actively seek out compared to the others. Its catchy, and reminds me a sunset drive somehow. I really enjoy the shouting/raising of Johnny's voice in this song though, although Im a sucker for any screaming or shouting in any of his or others songs. The rythem of this is also nice, very kinda close eyes and vibe. Kinda. Vibes.

Hum (Alex's song)
The song starts building tension with an Arpeggio(<- I believe) lyrics come in with only the guitar arpeggios in the back, the vocals become louder or at least seems to get faster and the with the quick tapping of a high hat it creates a lot of energy build up. The build up, I wouldnt say explodes) but crashes loudly before seemingly findings it beat and we are properly thrown into the song. Anyway I really like the guitar throughout this song, lyrics are good, drums are great, its a good head banging/nodding song. Also very fun to shout. Instrumental goes hard, again guitar being the focus its great. Oh and the pause before the screen is the cherry on top.

Give Me A Reason
Give me a reason is a very good song, it is infact one of the ones I seek out to listen to. I enjoy the tempo and rythem, and the piano is really good. Its a slower paced one and the instrumentals go so fucking hard. I think its a synth that gets used and its just so good. Theres a part if the instrumental where it goes deep (or could be a key change im not the best at picking those up) and its just soo good its so perfect. Anyway the song specifically the ending reminds me a lot of movie backing tracks or musicals

Side Effects + Medicine Dance
Side effects is a 30 second part of talking with faint backing tracks that leads into the next song. I really like the addition it sets up the next song as more jazzy, sleazy, maybe a little like a car or jazz club. It's great
Side effects than seamlessly blends into Medicine Dance, and the song immediately goes fucking HARD. this song is so fucking peak. I kid you not its so good. The energy, the vibes from the start are immaculate. The VOCALSSSSSS PLEASSEEEE. THE FUCKING INSTRUMENTALS??????? The beat the rythem, it really does make you wanna tap your feet and dance. I kid you not this song just goes so fucking hard please my words can not do it justice. Yeah I like this one a lot ♡ I cant even articulate it makes me just wanna scream and blabber on, please listen to this one. I am fairly certain this song is about not feeling like yourself on medication.

Remember Me
Remember me is good one as well, again one I do actively seek out to listen. I think the way its done is rather interesting compared to their other songs, it starts with building tension using a dull/mute/short plucked guitar (I THINK? Could be a synth) that plus the lyrics creates a build up and it feels like it will explode loudly like a lot of their songs but instead it sets straight off into a nice rythem its a really nice change of pace and I enjoy it a lot. Anyway the song is very nice and it reminds me of a musical once again, but it's great. This one is great. Lyrics are peak, instrumentals and track is great its all just really good.

Album of todayyy is Insomnia. This one has one of my favourite songs in it which is Lightning. The whole album is exceptionally good with a good range of different stories / what the songs about. But if I had to pick some other favourites they'd be Cupids Roaches, Way to Live, That Doesn't happen, and Sleep.
