coming back after well over a year is crazy.

this shit sucks but at the same time, β¨οΈlegsβ¨οΈ ya know?
dinner was fish fillets tonight, I had four and misread the package thinking one serving was one piece. I was feeling so bad after
I have never been happier to read the package accurately and find that one serving was two pieces, so I ate less than I thought
I had my entire meal planned for the day and it got ruined, I then doordashed some food b u t I stayed under 1200 and I think even after the fruit I'll still be under 1200.
I know not super low kcls but I can't restrict a ton cause of work
cravings make me so mad sometimes. my roommate brought home pizza and I ate half a slice (but I c&s the slice)
I also had some goldfish I was craving badly but I'm not counting those.
I've found the only way I see progress is when I allow small treats/snacks in moderation and allow myself to not count those cause it's for enjoyment. it's so I don't go over board later.
some reason it really works for me and I've seen good progress!
both out of plan foods where extra small too but I still feel like crap
ugghh I went over my cal limit today, just finished some work outs tho.
gonna work out even more tomorrow and go for a very long walk/hike. hoping to burn about 600 plus!
tomorrow I'm going out of town and I'm already planning what I'll eat since we're visiting a family friends restaurant butttt they have pickles and a few other low cal things.
I'm gonna do a few workouts after work and I brought a salad for dinner

why didn't I make sure to get enough protein and fiber last time?? it's making things much easier, yes protein is a little higher in kcals but I feel fuller for much longer, which makes it easier to fast for longer

Distractions from eating that require little energy
- find a topic of interest & look up videos abt it on youtube, create a playlist & listen while snuggling in bed
- hot bath or sitting down in shower β just need energy to get out of bed <3
- drink waterπ§
- go for a leisurely stroll β not every walk has to be an 8 mile power walk / hike π±
- stretch β I always feel sm better when I stretch. & feeling good & connected to my body in a positive way helps me to not want to eat/binge.
- meditate β so underrated. manifestation meditations r so powerful. I also like practicing breath work, it helps me a lot
- pick a task and set a 20 min alarm & then rest.
- watch or listen to health related videos. I love to watch videos abt y sugar is bad for u. I rly wanna end my addiction once & for all. Interesting topic & very motivating
- flip thru channels or videos wouldnβt normally watch. engage curiosity π
- work on self care routines (morning & night)
- work on breaking tasks + projects into steps (when im feeling fatigue & just wanna lay in bed this helps me start stuff)
