6/20/14 - My life flipped upside down. You think you know everything but you realize that you don't. As much as it hurt, it also made me realize I had to make decisions that are true to me.
6/22/14 - The day I made a very big decision in my life. I had to think long and hard about my long term goals, and what I believe is right for me even if it was difficult for others to comprehend. I made the decision to create a life away from NYC and live in Las Vegas with Andy. My digital media life will have to take a break and I will have to find something else in the southwest. I may be going into the unknown and I'm scared, but I'm not worried.
(in between: lots of drinks, dinners, parties, packing)
10/28/14 - Flying out. Lots of crying.
I'm so thankful that I was able to work from home through the end of the year. It wasn't easy to wake up at 6am every weekday to align with east coast time but it was worth it.
11/2-4/14 - Vicky visits. We walk to Target around the corner and it took us 30 minutes and we thought we were going to die.
11/22/14 - Melody & Rigo visit and we meet up to eat at Bacchanal and watch a Zombie Burlesque show. Very odd night, but it was so fun nonetheless.
12/15-18/14 - Nicole & Lauren visit. Red Rocks Canyon, Pinkbox Donuts, In-N-Out. Sol is in love with Lauren.
12/24/14 - 1/12/15 - In NYC for the holidays and then some. So much fun to reconnect and enjoy the New York winter. Made a solo visit to MoMA and it was just magical - Henri Matisse! Enjoyed every single minute staying in with family.
Saw This Is Our Youth with Kate.
Visited Museum of the Moving Images with Kim. Chuck Jones exhibit was nostalgic and exhilarating.
Book of Mormon with Vicky! HILARIOUS!
1/14/15 - Andy proposes to me while in bed. We're getting married!
2/6-10/15 - Vicky visits for my birthday. Walked aimlessly at Red Rocks since Andy led us to nowhere. Shopped around all day for dresses but nothing seemed to be the one! Enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Bazaar Meats by José Andrés @ SLS.
2/16/15 - We put an initial down-payment on building our first home!
3/4/15 - I finally got my NV driver's permit. More driving - commence.
Each day is a new opportunity for another milestone in life. I am learning this every step of the way. I feel like life is just getting better and better. Appreciate it, and nourish it. Keep working hard.
