So, what would Hazel, Ian, and Meg be like in the Gachiakuta universe? I suppose they would be in Paradise, or do you have something else in mind? I feel like Gigi would be expelled from Paradise or something like that.

I deadass thought I answered this I HAD IT SAVED AS A DRAFT INSTEAD. Hazel, Ian and Meg were definitely in paradise. Alec and Meg originally were in the upper rich parts with them before ending up in the slums. In my minddd they'd both be living together in this one..

The Emily family is a weird one for sure. Social recluses, they're rarely seen outside if they don't have to be. Best known for Henry's involvement with the hot new attraction in town.

Henry Emily

A man of little words. A man of little... anything. He is difficult if not impossible to talk to, seemingly perturbed at the very concept of spoken language. What he lacks in social skills he makes up for in engineering prowess, able to make a machine do just about anything once it's in his hands. Previously made his living producing small scale animatronics for theme parks.

Amelie Emily

Amelie is nice enough, but is distant and politely disinterested in most affairs. Though she's mostly a homemaker, she occasionally submits poetry to the local newspaper. Married Henry because he is so distant. She appreciates a nice evening inside more than anything else. Content that the twins spend their time doing their own thing. This comfortable detachment won't last.

Charlie and Sammy

The twins are straight out of a movie. Always in sync with each other as if they share a mind. Charlie is a little creepy, always observing her peers like they're animals and recording the information. She is fixated on her rainboots and never takes them off. Most of the other kids aren't too keen on it. Sammy isn't much better, barely responding whenever another kid tries to make friends. He's only interested in hanging with Charlie and practicing his magic tricks.

Does Pete know something's wrong with Alec after Hazel's party?

It's hard to ignore the sudden shift in behavior after Hazel's birthday, but his first assumption wasn't that he got possessed. At most he joked some type of miracle happened to get him to stop acting like an asshole, but he did find it weird for a while. He couldn't figure out what it was though so he just thinks Alec had a change of heart ( NO HE DIDN'T LOL.)

ive been procrastinating sending this but im so grateful for your alec content... it makes me super happy and helped me through a rough time of my life 🥹 alec is super relatable to me and i love your portrayal of him...... can't wait to see more

OGH THANK YOU!! that means a lot to me actually. I'm glad he was able to help you out through a rough time, it's a similar case with me haha. It makes me happy to know people like my portrayal of him :`3, he's always been a huge comfort of mine besides phone guy lol. But i hope things are better now and that you're doing well!! I have a lot of thoughts on this guy and I'll definitely keep posting more abt him haha

wish there was more discussion of Henry and mike in FFPS where Mike DOESN'T know the plan.. because canonically he doesn't. Henry lied to him. And I just think that's very interesting. We know that Mike is a "brave volunteer" who apparently stumbled onto this job on accident, but when did Henry realize who it was? if it was before the last day, why didn't he feel like he should tell Mike what the deal was? Did Henry not trust him? Did he feel guilty for leading him on this long? Did he just assume Michael would be cool with it the same way he assumes Michael is ok dying? Because that's another thing!! even if he was right and mike was ready to die, this was NOT Henry's call to make and he made it anyway. Michael was just another loose end to tie up. he doesn't even say Michael's NAME. he won't address him even to his face. How must that feel? I wonder...

Mostly all of them!! I've been slowly getting around to designing them all! The only one I don't feel like including is in the flesh because quite literally I. cant make that one work in my au 😭😭

Been having a lot of thoughts on Alec's family in my au;

Meg and Ian have such a very surface level interactions with their kids really. They don't really go past the "get-to-know-you" stage. It's more like small talk from both ends when it comes to their children. While they do still care about them, this doesn't extend to their emotional or mental needs, and tends to be very basic which is just providing food and shelter. It's more of a nuclear family type of deal they try to keep and it's mostly Meg that's trying to keep these roles in place. Meg in particular tends to be a little more controlling than she'd like to admit she is and ends up obsessing over something that isn't what she expects, but Ian lacks the drive to be a proper parent and is more the man of the house that provides.

Meg used to take care of Alec more properly during college but that's because Ian was too caught up in his own studies to really pay attention. She wouldn't say she's happy taking care of a kid that was always.. loud and needy, she'd smile and say that Alec was always very different. That doesn't mean she meant it as a good thing! She wants to conform to how society views families. She has good intentions and wants to make it good, but it ends up coming out extremely invalidating and in a not so accepting way. She isn't aware of this however.

As for Ian, he never really got the chance to emotionally develop with Alec or bond at any point during the most crucial parts of a baby's life because of his own studies. From his view point, he was doing everything for Alec because he was going to provide and take care of his basic needs, but it didn't extend to his actual needs which sort of left him emotionally unavailable. The same can't be said with Hazel though, as Ian had more free time and would be able to make up for what he couldn't with Alec.

It's a lot clearer when it comes to Alec because that's their "troubled" son that they have to deal with. This mold ends up getting heavily focused on because Alec is now only seen as something that needed to be fixed rather than get accepted, which does include his identity. His emotional and mental needs get neglected as a result and they only focus on what they want to see and hear, not his real self. He denies what they're trying to push on to him though because that's not who he is or what he stands for. This results in them trying to seek out alternative methods with all the parenting books rather than listening to Alec, and as a result ends up pushing him further away.

The thing about it is all this resentment that began to build up because of his very poor treatment began to instantly spread towards his sister Hazel. Although he understands it's more his parents fault, his anger issues pretty much don't spare anyone around him— this includes Hazel.

Although Hazel gets treated a lot better by her parents , she does feel pressure at all angles. They want her to be in this perfect mold of being the golden child.. which is being Always perfect. That in itself is very stressful and the ways she tends to ease up is by being around Alec, due to Alec being more of a free person himself. She is aware Alec doesn't like her as much though, and she tries to make it up to him by letting him know he's accepted by her. It eased up some worries... but it became an issue again later on again because no one liked addressing the elephant in the room.
