You make a lot of posts regarding soul mates, I was wondering what your thoughts are about what makes a person your soul mate, as many believe it is the person who you need at the time or a reoccurring person in your lifetimes.
You have only one soulmate.
That is why I never say "a soulmate" or "one of your soulmates". I always refer to the one, the only.
As a Greco-Roman pagan, I believe that our ancestors used to be far mightier than we are today.
For fear of an uprising, the gods split humans in two, halving our power and dooming us to search for our other half forever.
Yet the myths are not always complete. For the ones that survived are the point of view of only a few.
Our bodies are mortal indeed. But our souls live more than just a lifetime.
In every incarnation, we come across our other half. But we do not always unite.
For some, they are the one that got away. For others, they are the forbidden. Others yet, the one that passed too soon.
But in one of our incarnations, we are bound to unite forever. Spend a whole lifetime together. It is in such a life that we feel the most power.
We have other destined encounters. Our first love who taught us what heartbreak feels like. Another love who helped us learn the meaning of sacrifice. We signed a contract with these souls, to teach each other hard lessons.
But these fleeting romances are nothing at all compared to the one who matters above all.

IS PAGANISM RIGHT FOR YOU?
6 Things to Consider
In this video I share some things that indicate the Pagan path may be right for you:
1) You love being outdoors 2 ) You enjoy observing the seasons change 3) You believe there is a higher intelligence or force, but you are uncomfortable with the accepted notion of an all powerful, perfect God 4) You want a spirituality that embraces the sacred Masculine & the sacred Feminine 5) You have an interest in ancient civilizations 6) You are uncomfortable with the excessive materialism in the world Would you add anything to my list? Midsummer poems (by Milamai)
i loved you. i’ve loved you forever. i forgave you no matter what you did. i promised myself you changed and that the blood underneath your nails was just yours and not innocent victims. that you were different. i convinced myself that my love could save you and turn you into an angel but i was wrong. i’m always fucking wrong.
i found someone that stuck around and made me want to stick around too. made me feel like running away wasn’t the best option, like maybe i had a chance to stay without leaving covered in bruises. like maybe the sun really does come out after every storm. i feel like i’ve spent so blindly roaming around and now my eyes are finally open to the world and most importantly, to myself. i see you hurting, locked away inside of yourself and i wish i could do more than just tell you the key is in the palm of your hands. i can’t free you, but i can coax you out. you told me i quited the chaos in your head, that i was the calm after a storm. you give me every reason to be the person i’ve ached to be. you give me courage and most importantly, you give me a voice. and i will use it to guide you home.
