04/10/21 Been a while. Hello, tumblr. Happy 6 years to this personal blog. thank you, gmail for reminding me. I didn’t even realize how it has been that looong. Time flies. Wow! :’) A lot has happened for these past couple of months. wew ~

Tay just released re-records of Fearless yesterday and i played it during lunch break and to train ride home last night. Gave me so much nostalgic feelings. I can’t believe how me and my bff gummy used to sing these songs back in HS even printed out lyrics bc we didnt have the budget to buy the actual “song hits” which was back then the magazine for lyrics. Practically, we were smart for just printing it — i realized just now. HAHAHA WE CUTE.

In another world, I turned 25 last 7th of March and it was one hell of a weekend \ birthday week full of surprises from my friends and family here in ny. I’m so blessed 🥲 got so shy bc i didnt expect anything but made me so special haaays!! 🥰

08/05/20 : been streaming folklore since it came out and I think i have convinced or the right word would be // recruited? --  my cousin and so far I have heard him say that he loved some of the songs && I actually saw some of it added into his playlist??? UHMHM YAY and by that I’m proud of myself!! Huehue :’) I have really skipped 2 months worth of writings on my journal and I realized how I have become so busy but felt like I wasn’t at all? what daw? Anyways, I will try writing again in the next few days.. well I hope :> and it’s my mum’s 50th birthday today!! Missing the family super extra today. I hope everyone I care about stay safe xo

051020 10AM--- Happy Mother’s Day to all mums!!! (PST time that is~) A few days ago, me & my sisters were talking about our nanay on our groupchat since us girls planned a little something for her. With the efforts of our younger sister at home since the Ates are all awaay heeehee :-) (Got to see the vid earlier today when she my sister gave our gift and I got teary eyed seeing her so happy with our little gift and when she started reading our letters BAHAHAHAH tearssss :((((((( ) \\  Can’t help but feel nostalgic remembering all those timesss but thats for another story! :) A lot has happened in the past few weeks -- well, it was a LOT for me :> but still surviving and rising up to the challenge!!! Baby cousins learned how to ride the bike without the balancer, the other one scratched his leg cuz he fell off but said he was fine. Good boii. Other days, I just lie in bed and ofcourse study too or randomly receives a call from biancs either because she wants my opinion on something (which I’m kilig whenever :)))) & I’m so happy to be able to help!!!!! )or that she just wants to talk and we talk for like hours about random things (helps me lists things I have to do or the things we’ll do after quarantine, *Lists Lists* adds to list: for me, to read the manga she’s been obsessing about since highschool and the list goes on and on hahahaha!!) && i’m so happy to be able to learn from her just as she said she learns from me~ but I doubt it :)))) :(( I think I’ve been learning a lot from her perspectives in life and somehow glad she indulges me with my weirdo tendencies of just being weird as usual. LOL. Last night, bianx called me on discord and decided to have a group call with the other girls and we ended up watching Crazy Little Thing Called Love ~ we’ve been wanting to watch it since 2 weeks ago when the topic surfaced and ALAS spontaneously had a movie girl’s night in the middle of the night thru metastream -- haven’t done this before but I had so much funn!! :’))) & I can’t believe I forgot how funny and cute the movie was HAHAHA!! Woke up today and prepared spam, cheese french toast for my tita ~ happy mother’s day!! (*taps my own back!*) && I’m so happy to say that I’ve been working out for the past few months and I'm luving the endorphins!!!! LOL :))))))) FINALLY, finished The Alchemist. Haven’t finished a novel for the longesssst time [05.05.20] (starts one, then procrastinates or gets distracted with life LOL) && it feels gooood!!! Felt that the book resonated with all the things that has been happening in my life right now and never thought I’d needed the inspiring words of Paulo C. to make me feel again. Feel again, in the sense that I got to be reminded how HE has brought me this far and I’m always so thankful for His wonderful ways of showing me his love & grace!!  🥺 Brb, ~ xoxo

Believe it or not, at this point, God wants you right where He wants you.

He's strengthening you.

He's working in you.

He's working on you.

And He's preparing you.

He's preparing you for something that is far better anything you've had before.

He's preparing you for something that you can't even imagine.

He's preparing you for something you've been praying for, day after day, night after night.

The world may have turned its back on you but it is okay.

Because maybe, He's preparing you for something that's going to make you look back, and understand why He never let anything work before.

041319 ~ Today was tita’s birthday; it was raining the whole day ~ Day 30 something I guess of Quarantine. We ate good food, tita ordered online and I got to taste the yummiest chocolate cake ever!!! (since i’m not really into chco cakes excpt for lava cakes!!!) I could say it was really goooooood :) I took a nap that afternoon, hearing the sound outside my window -- Rain pouring + it was a bit windy too. woke up at the sound of ringing ~ the kids calling on Facetime. (the kids- i call them that since they’re younger than me. these are the peops i’ve met since i’ve arrived here and they’re really sweet. they added me on a grpchat which I ddn’t expect they would hehe really sweet. i think they wanna make me feel i’m not left out ~ which is i guess working c: i appreciate their efforts. i’m super shy in meeting new people heehee but when they were introduced to me they were so welcoming idk why but maybe it’s bcuz of our Filipino trait. so i’m lucky i guess) :))) so yeah, we talked for a bit. they just decided to say “hi” lol. this was also the first time we facetime-d since the grpchat was made (2nndtime today i mean, they called in the morning too heehee).

This was the sky when I decided to look outside the backyard. I was so happy to see the colors and decided to go out and take a photo :) This was at 7:24pm and 7:25pm-- 1 minute difference :-) 

That same night, after dinner I washed my face and got ready for bed :-) BTW, decided not to do anything today which meant I didn’t study today decided to give myself a day-off HAHAHAHA! I wasn’t feeling very sleepy since I took a nap, I decided to read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho -- a book I’ve brought from home. It was just there at my bedside since I arrived here. so I guess why not. Did not finish the whole book yet but somehow it got me so much feels. Will try to finish it in between study breaks. Til next time :)
