A loss ain’t a loss, it’s a lesson. Appreciate the pain, it’s a blessing...

Step one?
For me, music has been a big part of my life, almost like a backing track to certain things I’ve experienced. Whether its cruising at 2am in crisp 60 degree nights listening to Kid CuDi humming on Mr. Solo Dolo, or The Game’s Westside Story as my flight descended into LAX (purely coincidental, I promise). Listening to certain songs is almost like a way to revisit, and bring memories to life.
My name is Chris, and early on, like most people I’d just listen to whatever my parents or my siblings listened to. My car rides were filled with anything from ballads by Ana Gabriel to 36 Chambers by Wu-Tang. It wasn’t till I hit my senior year of high school that I really started developing my own taste. Whenever I’d meet someone new, one of the first questions I’d ask is what they listened to. I just liked talking about music. I’m not classically trained, (shit, I barely play guitar) and granted there’s still a lot I can learn. I’m just an enthusiast.
This is about me just talking about shit I’m listening to and think is dope. I’m still not entirely sure where this is headed but, fuck it.
We too crazy to keep calm……..
People never believe me when I tell them that I’m dominican. My mom is from Sosua and all my relatives live there. People usually think I’m lying or that I’m Haitian. I have nothing against Haitians but they are two separate countries with different cultures. I wish that Americans would stop thinking that the average dominican is white with long straight hair. No! There are negro Indio and white Dominicans! And some Dominicans need to get out of that mindset that they are not black! Our ancestors are from Africa!
I love hip hop
Honestly I'm still not entirely sure how this works....oh well. Let's see where it goes
