Maker Monday at Birmingham Open Media - Monday June 29th, 17.15
MakerMonday is a regular Monday workshop that aims to foster innovation with digital technology. The sessions will be held in the evening of the final Monday of each month at Birmingham Open Media (except when the final Monday is a bank holiday, in which case it's the penultimate Monday) .
The next event will be on the theme of Open Innovation. Our guest expert will be Pablo Ripollés from Media Lab Prado. They are a long standing FabLab and originators of the Interactivos? event that has brought us many superb creative technology projects. Pablo will show some inspirational work and then lead a workshop session. There will be two strands, one will look at how you can use Python (the popular programming language, not the snake) and the other will be a creative/engineering session to make a Rube Goldberg Machine - if you don't know what that is, then watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOMIBdM6N7Q In the meantime, please look at our project updates on Tumblr (http://makermondaybrum.tumblr.com/).
The event on Open Innovation will be held on June 29th at 17:15 at Birmingham Open Media, by New Street Station. Your free tickets can be booked at http://goo.gl/ZQAWnq
