On the surface of Luna, great clouds blot out the starry blanket of the cosmos above. These clouds rumble and churn with wild mana, magic in its most potent and uncontrollable form. Veins of mana sprout from the clouds, splitting and spreading their flickering tendrils down towards the surface. In a great flash of destruction the clouds dissipate, the mana striking deep into the moon's surface and boring its way down through Luna Hell; the beginning of its long journey back down to the surface of Lunacy. To draw mana straight from these clouds is an incredible feat that is rewarded with immense power. But more often than not, would-be conjurers are overwhelmed by the violent storms. Their bodies and souls are broken down into raw mana, and in an instant they rejoin the fabric of life that they had sprung forth from. -------------------------------- Inktober 27: Demon and Thunder
