ON HIATUS: Injured my wrists :( Will post again when they're healed! Might make a post here or there but at low frequency because I can't easily make them.

I will provide updates about the current goings-on of the Internet Roadtrip. This currently includes our photos of locations we have been in and comments on those photos that reference our community or future plans, though I may branch out into other forms of posts. I take all the screenshots that I post, which are primarily taken from the Internet Roadtrip site, with occasional exceptions where we saw something I wanted to post but did not catch a screenshot of it, in which case I go to the base Google Street View imagery. Feel free to reuse them for any purpose. I do occasionally also reblog things, in which the screenshots will not be mine. Posts are tagged with the province/state and municipality, and any other useful geographical info (think Cape Breton), along with descriptions of what we're seeing (bridge, coast, etc.) when the post isn't a collage of various images through a day. I'll always tag the province/state.

We reached 10,000 kilometers! The odometer maxed out at 9999 lol

Also we have our biggest faction war since Maine and possibly ever going on right now, with the factions being continuing onwards into Quebec right now or reentering Maine and hitting the parts of Maine we haven't seen. The route is pretty likely to cover the majority of both regardless, so it's more about what we end up missing and what we hit first.

I have way too many photos from Lunenburg, so I'm splitting them up into a couple posts. This was imo the coolest town we've visited since at least Pictou, and possibly the coolest town we've seen period! Starting with the stuff we saw pre-waterfront (mostly a lot of cool architecture, love the architecture in Lunenburg):

The waterfront definitely had the most to see, with us getting on a boat and multiple good drone views among many other cool pictures:

We left Halifax early :( was hoping we'd still be there when I woke up today. Have had some scenic views though on the way out!

Point Pleasant Park has been absolute chaos so far.

It started pretty unassuming; we passed by Park Place Theater, which had pride flags on the side of the building, and then entered the park. I have a few photos from here:

Around the start, we found a portal that would take us from Cambridge Battery to some grassy area in eastern Dartmouth and then back. This was over 6 km away, by far the longest portal we've encountered (outside of one that takes us from San Diego to 0, 0, very far away from where we are). That was our new goal.

Then... we ran out of gas on the way up. (This means we got stuck for no apparent reason.) Took a few minutes for the site to get back in order, but it did and we continued. I got a few more pictures of the nice landscape, plus one of the battery as we reached it:

We were there, and excited to see the portal! The battery itself was also cool, but the portal was definitely more important.

I suppose the gods punished us for our hubris and our sentence was the White Void.

This was legitimately like under two minutes before we reached the portal. Another running out of gas situation, but refreshing the site sent you to the void, and a lot of us did so. Eventually, the site fixed itself again and we managed to get to the portal!

...and then we went in it six times.

We went in it like another four times after this picture before finally exploring the rest of the park. You might get more photos from the park later, but it is getting late for me (almost 4 AM, so like maybe close to bedtime), so who knows.
