I made the denim camouflage dress entirely alone - pretty proud of this!

MOLLIE! WHERE'S MOLLIE?!

Once all of the girls were dressed, had perfect hair and makeup and were in their correct order, the show began. Music by Johjo Jury and Hannah Holland boomed over the speakers and, for a few seconds, all was calm back stage. Then the chaos started...

One after another models gradually filtered into the room, having their clothes pulled off from all angles. A model named Sophie walked into the room and I noticed no one had started to undress her. I asked her if she knew who her dresser was or if she knew what she was wearing next to which she replied no. In a slight panic, I did that only thing that I thought would be helpful and undressed her. This poor girl was stood in a small pair of knickers in the middle of a room filled with photographers, all getting in the way. I shouted out across the room to Marta who luckily came to the rescue and dressed Sophie. 

After the chaos, Mollie and Weronika returned. Abbie smoothly dressed Weronika and had her ready in the line up in a matter of seconds, I, unfortunately, wasn't so smooth. I undressed Mollie easily and gave her a plain black bra from American Apparel to put on, as her next look was see through. I got to work on pulling the delicate knitted burgundy trousers up over the white silk sneakers (we didn't have time to take them off and re-lace them). I gave Mollie the top and asked her if she could put it on herself, but she accidentally put her head through the arm hole and asked 'err...is this right?'. I couldn't believe it, and thought that that was it, I was going to be the one to fuck up the whole show but Abbie saw what had happened and ran to the rescue. This sounds a bit over dramatic, but she really did. Baring in mind all of this happens in the space of about 1 minute, and in the distant background I can heard people shouting my models name, which means she was getting gradually closer to the front of the line up, but was actually stood stuck in a top in front of me! 

Luckily, with Abbie's help she was sorted, ran to the front of the line up and was on the runway. Although looking back at the footage, her cardigan is falling off one shoulder, I was just relieved that she was dressed and in the correct order. The moment that she walked out of the door, my heart pounded, I can't remember that last time I was this full of adrenalin. Purely because I didn't wish to ruin Marta and Paulo's big day, didn't want to do anything that may take away from all of the hard work and effort they've put in for the past 6 months. And hopefully, I don't think I did.

Last minute make up touches and Mollie being moisturized.

The models then went into hair and make up. The room was complete chaos, all 16 models in there at once having their hair steamed poker straight, nails painted and eye make up done. As well as both teams being in the room, backstage photographers took up any other available space and, if I'm being honest, made our job a lot more difficult. We had to run in and out of the room and ensure that all models had their shoes on and that they fitted correctly. Typically, mine and Abbie's models were the last to go into hair and make up , so whilst the other girls were already dressed, ours were no where near ready. The adrenalin started to build as Mollie and Weronika's names were called time and time again and I had to shout back that they were still in hair and makeup and were not dressed. Eventually they both came out and we were able to dress them just in time.

Before hair and makeup is completed the models do a run through of the show, making sure they know at what pace to walk and what route around the space to take, also checking that the music is correct.

Initially I was meant to do both of these changes but we realised that it would be very difficult time wise, and so luckily Abbie was able to help out and agreed to dress Weronika while I dressed Mollie.
