Proposal From Casanova [Gladio/Reader]

Summary: Gladio isn’t surprised when you intercept him, but he is surprised by how hard it is to let you go.

a/n: ayy. so gladio is my fav ffxv character alongside of ravus and ignis. but gladio is just my boi. this takes place when gladio takes his temp leave of absence around cape caem.

“So, where are you going?”

At the soft tones of your voice, the scuff of crumbling concrete and weeds underfoot ceased. Gladio couldn’t say he was surprised that you managed to intercept him before he could slink away from Cape Caem. While his sister held good faith in that he would be joining Noctis and the others in Altissia, he knew you were far too keen to let him go undetected.

Joining a large hand to his nape, massaging the area almost sheepishly, he turned towards you with a lethargic sway and disarming smile. Your arms were tight to your chest, expression as neutral as ever, and you mimicked his languid motions.

“Let me guess–Prompto?” Gladio said, humorously.
