        Helena leaned into his touch, embracing him and not holding anything back in her body language. She was submitting entirely to this because she knew she was ready, deep down and….maybe right here on the surface. 

       She inhaled before closing her eyes and straightening her expression. “Nate…..will you marry me ? “

Oh. Nate looked stunned for a moment, speechless with.. well, he just froze on the spot. He cleared his throat, reaching his free arm over to pinch himself to check that this wasn’t just a dream. The pain came, but instead of flinching he split out into a grin, so wide it nearly split his face in two. Gently, he cupped her face in his hand, leaning down to kiss her. 

“Helena, Nothin’ in this whole wide world would make me happier than marryin’ you.”

     Helena accepted his kiss before leaning into his embrace. In disbelief over what was unfolding. Something she had never imagined herself doing coming into reality. Her and Nate, was all she had wanted in this moment.

holy hell you guys. i haven’t even been active on kate for very long after a super long semi-hiatus where the hell did all of you even come from??? i’m still super, super new to dc comics in the grand scheme of things but i became trash for batwoman so fast it’s ridiculous. i love playing her and almost everyone in this fandom has been so nice and welcoming and accommodating for someone who’s still learning the ropes around here. you guys are so great and for my 300+ follower milestone i wanted to do a quick bias list to show my appreciation. as usual i probs forgot some people and if i do, i’m sorry, but please know i appreciate every single one of you are you guys are so great.
