It’s not like Gotham is his favorite place to be--the whole city gives him the creeps, especially at night-time. Not to mention he can still remember the last time he was here--getting dosed by that fear toxin & seeing his worst nightmare come to life before his eyes.

But the Batman is here,  and Nate’s waiting for the vigilante to show, arms crossed and feeling tense.

He doesn’t like Gotham too much--but he likes Batman just fine. This place just makes him.. jumpy.

im rebooting the jli and giving nate more of a part and scott&barda (mostly scott) see hes fucking depressed and take him out to do fun normal earth things. except scott and barda and nate all have zero concept of normal modern things to do in 2019 so they just end up doing retro shit & being weridos. scott lets nate use his george foreman grill and nate almost cries
