Threads Iâd Like to Keep
ok so iâm moving to @intovoid and hereâs a list of threads iâd be down to keep, that being said please donât feel any pressure to continue them if you donât want to!
britishgold â gavin
â are you sure ? i donât think this is very fun, chris,  â gavin replied with a pout. it wasnât ideal to be sat in an interrogation room, after all. he hoped that the implication of them being friends would be enough to woo chris into letting him out. â more fun on the outside, innit ?  â he added with a shrug of his shoulders. they could have a lot more fun is they were running wild on the streets of los santos. he was sure he could convince chris to go for a ride with him, do some of the stunt jumpsâŚcool things. dangerous things.
â yeah but since itâs such a big song, the lyrics should be gotten correct. itâs blasphemy for them to be wrong,  â gavin chuckled, in gavinâs eyes it was like getting bohemian rhapsody wrong. more illegal than any of the fakeâs activity. â imagine the amount of likes i could get with a photo of satchel and me on my instagram,  â the golden boy giggled. he already got a ridiculous amount of attention on social media but include a cute puppy and heâd be soaring even higher.  Â
â  yeah, I know. I hate doing this as much as you do.  â  Itâs hard to be a cop when all of your best friends are among the most dangerous criminals los santos has ever known. when it comes to other criminals chris is great at his job! finding lost people ?  infiltrating dangerous territory ?  chris is your guy. he may act like a child most of the time, but when it comes time for it heâs more serious than anyone ever couldâve expected.  â  you can go soon.  â  he shouldnât really let gavin go, but itâs the same story every time. they try to hold âem and lock âem up, but then jack or geoff calls and they have the bail money. Itâs not worth arresting any of them unless you arrest all of them.
â  I think maybe youâre worrying too much about things being perfect and not enough about having fun.  â  he says with a shrug. he doesnât tend to care much about getting the lyrics right most of the time, as long as everyoneâs having fun and singing along it doesnât matter much.  â  oh, yeah, satchels adorable, no one can resist pictures of him.  â Â
the-musician-and-serpent â jughead
Perhaps it was strange of him to suddenly pull her in, but answers were needed, and he was also looking for validation. There was something going and he recalled hearing Hopper talking about finding his house bugged. The boy needed to be careful, which is why he chose the office space. He had searched it up and down, but for extra assurance used a small electromagnetic field to short circuit anything he missed.
âItâs coming and could be upon us, at any moment.â Jughead warned and felt a figurative chill. It was nice to have someone to talk to about this, for a change.
Even if she was forced behind a closed door. There were things to chat about and while it may have been off putting to anyone who saw, but the boy couldnât have cared in the slightest. He walked over to the table and took a seat on it. He was thinking of what the event was going to be.
The the girl introduced herself and she really should have kept the last name a secret.
âOh I get it now. Steve put you up to this, to ridicule me.â Jughead responded and there was actually a hurt look in his eyes. The Harrington brother was a bully and someone who needed to be put in his place, but that wasnât for Jughead to do.
âOr maybe not, but the point is, something is coming for Hawkins.â The boy said and in the next few days, they would both hear of news, which would set everything into motion.
Sheâs not sure what she was expecting, her brother may be what some would consider popular but it was unlikely for him to be considered anyoneâs favorite person. While Debbie got to see his good side often, most people werenât so lucky.
She sees the look on his face change before he utters the words, and thereâs a small wave of disappointment that washes over her. Disappointment in her brother for his reputation, disappointment in Jughead for assuming the worst, but mostly disappointment in herself for seeming like the kind of person who would do something to try to humiliate someone.
She can see that he looks hurt, and she assumes heâs disappointed in her too. She canât really blame him for the assosiation, though. He doesnât know her, and it doesnât take much to assume that siblings would act similarly.
âSteve knows nothing about this.â Itâs said slightly quieter than everything else sheâs said, slightly more serious. She may have been serious about everything else, but sheâs beyond serious about keeping Steve out of something that could be dangerous. Oh how little she knows about her brothers life.
âHave you heard the weird conspiracy guy talking about some theories about a Russian spy? He says thereâs a kid with no hair and has a little tattoo on their wrist?â Itâs asked as she steps further into the room, coming to a stop standing opposite him.
Sheâs been listening to Murray a lot recently, ever since things started being strange. âI think heâs right. Or- Well not about the spy thing, I donât think any Russian spies are in Hawkins. But the kid with the tattoo, I think the kids real.â Which may make her sound just as crazy as he does, but sheâs gonna act as if itâs normal.
âYou need to keep this a secret,â She starts, but she already trusts that heâll do such. Sleeve is lifted and bracelets shifted to reveal the small tattoo on her wrist. 013. âI donât know where itâs from or how I got it. Itâs been around as long as I remember and my parents make up excuses or avoid it any time I bring it up. Steve.. I donât think he knows.â
shenaniganelous â mariel
mariel gave every softball practice her all, no matter what the conditions were. and that was a MISTAKE, especially when the field might as well have still been pure mud when she and a few other girls went out during their free periods.
not only did she ruin her clothes when she slipped at second base, but half the cheer squad saw it happen.
itâs in her nature to default to aggression â her friends tell her to lighten up and they laugh it off, but she just CANâT. she wants to, but having so many people see her fumble makes her want to hide in the bathroom for the rest of the day.
that was the PLAN, right up until she realized someone had followed her into the bathroom and was offering her a change of clothes. she doesnât expect KINDNESS from anyone, but especially not from one of the cheerleaders.
â barbara, â she greets her, forcing a smile and blinking back any lingering tears of embarrassment. â did any of you, uh â get that on film? â mariel means for it to sound like a JOKE, but it seems sad when it leaves her mouth.
eyes go to the clothes being held out to her, and if she hadnât been confused before, she was NOW. â your uniform? youâre â youâre offering me this? â Â
@intovoid | for barbara!
sheâs late. again. itâs not her FAULT, sheâll swear that up and down a million times. they donât care for her excuses though, donât really care for her in general. sheâs only on the team because of anthony, thereâs nothing FORCING them to keep her around if she doesnât get her act together.
sheâs out of breath as she sprints to the field, coming to a stop when she reaches the other cheerleaders. she may have lost weight, but sheâs still not really one of them. not as fit as them, not as pretty as them, not as READY as them. they were a constant reminder of who she was trying to be, but she herself was a reminder of how FAR sheâd have to go to get there.
sheâs the ONLY ONE not in uniform, and sheâs a few seconds away from explaining herself when they all start laughing. sheâs confused until she turns to see mariel covered in mud. they havenât talked a lot, but barb sees herself in mariel, even if on the outside they seem like they live in completely separate worlds.
she heads off after the dark haired girl, the other cheerleaders not really seeming to CARE if she leaves. she stops at her gym locker on the way, grabbing the only change of clothes she has.
she knows the girl wasnât EXPECTING her, knows it probably doesnât seem like a genuine offer of kindness coming from a cheerleader, but she doesnât care. sheâs being GENUINE and the girl will realize that soon enough. â I think youâre safe. â
she knows the uniform isnât the girls typical look, probably even far from her DESIRED style, but itâs the thought that counts, right ?  â would you rather walk around NAKED or muddy ? â asked jokingly, though thereâs a soft smile on the blondes face. â Itâs the only other clothes I have on me. â
doublebcss â mo
ânot too well, i imagine,â she chuckled as she opened the door a bit wider. âafter you. can you turn on the lights while youâre at it?â normally itâs stella taking such dare-devil risks but the lead guitarist is sick; the flu got her good. and thus it was mo who offered to do what she did: which was recording herself singing a song or two.
with a nod she heads into the room, quiet fumbling and slight crashing sounds before the light switch is located. the rooms much easier to navigate when you can see well. âwhat if the room has bad acoustics?â
doublebcss â mo
Thereâs a flash of red hair and then Wenâs there and Mo let out a shaky sigh, trying and failing to keep the sobs from spilling over. His arms wrap around her; Mo protested weakly âcause sheâs gonna get blood all over his sweater like this but she hugged him back just the same. And she saw the part of his face that was gonna get bruised because he went down. It was that, the fact that one of her best friends was hurt, not a screaming Brooke or the dead body up close, which caused her to start crying for real.
Heâs never been this close to a dead body before. Itâs not gonna be a cool story he tells when heâs in his 30s trying to impress new people, itâs a story his fatherâs gonna make him repeat in therapy for months. Heâd already tried after the killings before, but he hadnât seen anything like this then. This would haunt him - and everyone else - for a long time. âAre you okay?â A mumbled question as lips press gently to Moâs forehead, though thereâs only one answer and they both know itâs not good.
doublebcss â mo
âdonât let go.â itâs a whisper that repeats itself again and again. a desperate plea. âjaane mat dena.â donât let go, donât let go, donât leave me here aloneâand then theyâre pulled off the stage. she believes wen when he says that someone will make sure, she believes him when he says that they canât help her. warm tears drip down her cheeks. all mohini wants to run back to brooke because no one deserves to go through something so harrowing all alone but olivia quickly brushes her hair away from her face and she feels stellaâs hand on her shoulder as charlieâs concerned eyes meet hers. scott is there too and he briefly squeezes her bloodied hand but lets go when charlieâs voice breaks with barely contained emotion as he asks: âwhat happens now?âÂ
he wants to cry. wants to scream. wants to punch a wall until he canât feel anything anymore. but he canât. not yet, at least. he can do all of that once heâs alone, once he knows everyone else is okay. for now heâs composing himself, forcing himself to stay strong. heâs got to look after his friends. âI donât know.â he answers straight away, because somewhere in all of this he became the leader. heâd always thought stella was a better leader than him, but just like everyone else sheâs clueless and scared. he is too, but since heâs not showing it theyâre all acting like itâs not there. âno more classes.â and even if there was they werenât going, none of them are in the right place for that. âwe should all be together tonight.â
trippyburnout â trippy
he dozed off in class a lot. rather it be because heâd toke in the bathroom between classes or if it was the recent lack of sleep he had been experiencing. sleep used to never be an issue but trippy aaronovich but now? well, there was something strange going on in hawkins and trippyâs conspiracy theorist mind was on high speed. heâll feel the gentle shakes to his person but it takes a few moments to rise him out of the deep slumber he had found himself in on this uncomfortable desk. âwoah!â heâll jump slightly, feet slamming onto the ground as he pushes himself into a standing position. âdebbie! debbie! hi!âÂ
Itâs not as if she was surprised he was asleep, most people tend not to take much of an interest in school stuff. at least, not like debbie does. sheâs studying more than sheâs relaxing, a polar opposite of her brother. she jumps back slightly when he jumps up, laughing gently as he composes himself. âhi.â her gaze goes from him to the desk and then back again. âdidnât get much sleep last night?â
spillcdblood â rick
He doesnât want to put a rift between Maggie and Beth. But, this isnât a secret thatâs going to get out. By the time that it does, he hopes that there wonât be any more need to keep secrets. For now, itâs just an extra precaution. But he thinks Maggie, among the others, needs to be able to believe in this place without his skepticism getting in their way.
He offers a small smile at her confession of hiding things from her sister. Itâs not surprising. Itâs what siblings do and Rick nods in return. â I donât want to dampen anyoneâs hope here. â
Sheâs tempted to comment that people already have dampened hopes, that people already didnât expect much good from this place, but she doesnât know that. She just knows that she doesnât expect any good from it. Maybe everyone else is ready to settle down here, go back to how things were.
She does want that, to some extent. For Maggie and Glenn especially. Her sister was married, she wanted the girl to have a chance at being happily married, no need to worry about surviving day to day. â Yeah. Hopefully people are hopeful about this place.â
brcveclark â alicia
a hospital? jackpot. sure some dead would be lurking still but for the most part hospitals now seemed a hell of a lot safer than most places. it was too dark for actual scavenging now â her curiosity however getting the better of her. she needed a better look to make sure it was worth coming back in the morning. taking cautious steps ahead, it wasnât long before the brunette stopped in her tracks. noticing up ahead a flash of a torch. danger. she keeps still hoping not to be seen but sheâs already been spotted. relief overwhelms her for the moment, itâs a girl â her age. her brows furrow as the other womanâs words meet her ears.Â
â what? â she says quickly, a knee jerk reaction before the sentence makes sense. â why not? â alicia asks tilting her head slightly, now finally taking the time to squint through the darkness and really take in the girl. she looked like shit. more so than the rest of humanity considering it just looked like sheâd been hiding out in a hospital for god knows how long. perhaps people were the reason she shouldnât enter the hospital â not the dead.Â
the girl doesnât get it, of course she doesnât get it. in this world a working hospital is a blessing, not a curse. or at least it should be. grady memorial was not a blessing, it was a nightmare. sure, there were beds and foods and medical care and luxuries that beth - and everyone else - had long given up, but the people were dangerous and they used you and they were never going to just let you go.
â bad people. â itâs the simplest way to explain it, the easiest way to let her know. everyone knows about bad people now. â food, water, medical supplies. it should be safe and nice and helpful, but the people⌠â  a small sigh, gaze dropping to her arm for a moment. â they knocked me out when I was with a friend, broke my wrist in the process. took me and not him cause he was strong, heâd fight back. they gave me the scars too. bad people. â
jockantagonist â tommy
âno, itâs fine.â heâll move his hand to block hers once it moves to his chin. âplease donât touch me,â his words are slow, calm. he doesnât want to lose his cool again. he wants to brush this off as another fight, you know? even though itâs not like that at all. steve would have known what was going on. debbie didnât and he wasnât going to pull her into that. âyeah. heâs fucked up. broke his nose.â yeah, but who was it tommy? are you going to have to break someoneâs nose just to make your lie look legit? âno, itâs fine. i just needed a moment, you know?â
as soon as he speaks and blocks her hand she drops it, no hesitation and no questions. he knows what he needs more than she does, and sheâs not about to do something he doesnât want her to do. âwell Iâm glad you donât have broken bones.â she quickly looks him up and down - just to check - but itâs clear nothings broken. heâd be in much more pain if things were. âif youâre worried about my parents I could shave my head and theyâd never notice, a boy in my room for one night would be nothing.â
edictwept â florence
â have you ever met someone who just had. a bad personality. like.. just. terrible. awful. made you ⌠wanna RUN AWAY for a couple of days to just try and. forget that interaction ever, you know, happened. â is that what she did ? you bet ! it was just for, like, two days, so itâs totally not a big deal, right.Â
âyeah. you pretty much just explained HALF of my cheer squad.â spoken with a laugh, but oh sheâs not kidding. she didnât realize that the dumb blonde cheerleader stereotype could actually exist to that extent in reality. âplus, my dads girlfriend - or wife I guess I should say - feels that way sometimes. Itâs like sheâs never said an interesting thing in her life.â
destitutesoul â benny
â if   you   donât   think   mister   bean   is   the   height   of   comedy,   then   we   canât   be   friends. â
â i   prefer   my   comedy   a   bit   darker,   or   a   bit   punnier.  âÂ
shefiights â carol
â they wouldnât be the first people who wanted to kill me. itâs a sad thing to say that iâm used to it. weâre all used to it, and thatâs not how the world should work anymore. â but people will believe what they believe. nothing you do, or say will change their minds. you just have to change yourself, and hope that itâs enough.
â and they wonât be the last. â  she says with a small nod. the world had changed, everything had changed. survival was all that mattered, everything else came second.  â at least you got there after gormon died. â  and for a split second you can see a look of guilt on the blondes face, but it soon fades away.  â he was a real piece of shit. â Â
