I really wanted to say I'm good. But I'm not. Lord... please help me...
Isn't it nice to be just a normal kid?
If you only know how much it hurts when you talk, laugh and criticize me.
I Choose to Love You
and Hate "Me"
Your words are embedded in me.
Words of mockery.
Of judgement and superiority.
You have tainted me.
My childhood.
My past.
And it haunted me.
It devoured me.
Until today.
You took away my beliefs and trust.
To Myself.
To my Future.
To Anything I can possibly excel at.
You magically made me believe you.
But we share the same blood.
We share a lot of things I never asked for.
But I decided to purse my lips.
Always.
Never to confront.
Never to enrage.
Never to contest.
Never to fight for "me."
Never.
For I believed that I am nobody.
I am in your shadows.
Worse than inferior.
For I believed I can be no one.
There were potentials in me.
People sees it.
But I never did.
You hid them.
Now here I am.
Telling myself that it's not your fault.
Because it's "me" who let you did that to me.
"I cannot point fingers."
I tell myself.
But I blame you.
It's confusing.
I wish to blame you.
But I can't.
I choose to love you.
I choose to forgive you.
Because that's the right thing to do.
How can I hate you?
I look up to you.
You are my idols.
But in contrary,
I hate "me"
I cannot love "me."
I cannot forgive "me."
I never wished to become "me."

Everyone reiterates that "in everything you do- good or bad- people will always have negative criticisms, so do not be bothered, just do what you think is right for you." It's ironic, that those people who tell me this are the very same people who actually judges me. Isn't it hypocritical? People's beliefs contradicts their behavior. Believing they're noble yet actually, they're not.

“You get a strange feeling when you’re about to leave a place. Like you’ll not only miss the people you love but you’ll miss the person you are now at this time and this place, because you’ll never be this way ever again.”
