There seems to have been so much drama in the RP world lately, and not the good kind. I just want to remind people to:

Be respectful. If someone doesn’t want to do a particular RP with you, accept it and move on.

Don’t steal other people’s work (icons, plots, etc). They put a lot of time and effort into it. 

Have fun!

Seriously, though. RP should be fun. You shouldn’t have to deal with harassment or be made to feel uncomfortable. Also, you matter. You are important. Don’t ever be afraid to walk away if someone or something is hurting you.

I heard that people don’t change. I don’t necessarily believe that. People change all the time. Have you ever had to say goodbye to someone that wasn’t physically gone? I have. Sometimes I don’t even get a goodbye. Sometimes they just disappear and all you have left are the memories in their place. It’s hollow, a fake empathy. They used to make you smile, they used to make you laugh, you used to be so close. Now you pass them on the street and that was a different lifetime. People change all the time.

I hope you’re lucky enough to stay with them through each change. I hope that when they change, you still fit in their lives. I really do hope. ( c.d. )
