In case you missed a prompt and don’t wish to dig through the posts of the ones you did see, this is a complete list. I’ve broken them down into three groups - User submitted (from the interest check), Sugar, and Spice. You’re not limited to where you use these, and you’re not obligated to use them at all, or even exactly as they’re written. They’re also beneath a cut, because it’s a lengthy list 😉

I just recently discovered the Inuyasha fandom here on Tumblr and have been rekindling my love for Inuyasha, but I'm so sad I missed this. Are you going to be continuing this event next year? I would love to participate and try my hand at drawing!

Hi! Welcome back to the fandom!

At this point I'm not sure if I'll be continuing with a new set of prompts and badges for 2024? Despite the feedback I got on the interest check last fall, there wasn't a lot of enthusiasm for the event, and I can't say for certain if I'll have the 2-3 months to put towards organizing what I did this year. 😔

However, not all is lost - I've got all the prompts put together from the past few years over on the event's carrd site, and that will always be available. If you want to give it a go anytime, there are lots of ideas for inspiration! 💖

I'd rather not let it disappear, but it's a lot of work to put into on your own when only a couple people participate. I'll have to see where I'm at further in the year, and then I might know better if and what I'd be able to handle in 2024.

March 14th is White Day in Japan, so if you’d rather your theme fit this, this is also fine!

If you missed posting your work for Sugar/Valentine’s Day, you should still share it when you’re able!

We’re getting close to the 14th, and it feels like a good time to check in with you!

So - how are you? Feeling good? Feeling accomplished? Stuffy head? Behind schedule? Hopefully if you’re feeling under the weather, you’re resting and taking your medicine. If it’s anxiety about this event or any other event you’re taking part in, consider this your order to PAUSE.

Seriously, stop what you’re doing for a few minutes. Or an hour. Now take a breath. I can see you holding it in like a rebel, don’t make me come over there and smush your cheeks. Exhale. Belch. Fart. No it’s not appropriate in company and probably frowned upon in a small enclosure but it helps. Okay, you good?

If you’re anxious about being ready by the “date” of an event, I can’t speak for other event organizers, but I imagine if you reach out early they can work with you? Especially if you had to sign up, cause those deadlines are usually mandatory like the electric bill. For this event, the 14th of February and the 14th of March are when I begin reblogging works that the blog’s been tagged in. That’s all 🙂 If you want to post early, awesome! Tag it with “iy sugar and spice” or @inuyasha-sugar-and-spice​ and I’ll add it to the queue! If you’re not ready for any reason, post it when you are and do the same. No penalty, no shame, no questions asked.

Here we go - more from the Nailed It universe! It’s not the Halloween-themed one I originally wanted to do, but something just wasn’t working so it got an overhaul. Many thanks to @dchelyst again for being my second set of eyes, as I’d looked over it so much and thought about it so much that I wasn’t catching the places where a small detail could make it better ❤

Summary: Kagome’s facing another deadline, and a random suggestion from Inuyasha leads to a weekend vacation in a cabin rental. When she plans to put all of her eggs in one basket and learns that the chicken won’t lay, she has to make the best of the situation. Fortunately for her, she’s got a well-meaning boyfriend whose willing to play along.
