April O’Neil - She/They - 16 - Human/Kraang Mutant

April is the most unlucky girl as her whole life flips upside down when she finds out about her troubling past: her being part Kraang and her biological mother being a woman from Dimension X known as Big Mama.

April growing up was a very straight A- by the book student. She wanted to show here family proud and would go to great lengths the show that she was a star student. But when she eventually made her way underground to live in the sewers she had to get used to a not so perfect life.

April otherwise is a smart individual and prefers taking action rather than sitting around, which makes her and Leo very fast friends as they both decide they need to be heroes.

Casey Jones - They/Them - 15 - Human

Casey is a loose cannon. After learning about the disappearance of two of their classmates- April and Karai - They decide they need to become a vigilante and solve this crime.

Growing up Casey was the heir to the ‘Dragon. Co’ fortune. When in reality their mother was actually the leader of a horrible syndicate known as the Purple Dragons. Hating this was another reason they wanted to stand up for what was right and fight for justice. Like Batman. They wanna be Batman so bad.

Casey rather enjoys any activity with a physical aspect to it, becoming Raphs number one sparing partner. Raph would never admit they were friends, however.

TMNTROTP UPDATE! SPLINTER TIME!

Yoshi Hamato - 45 (410 in actuality but that’s hard to explain here I will later) - He/Him - Lab Rat Mutant

Yoshi is a very well meaning Rat. When he escaped his laboratory confinement with the turtles he adopted the four of them as his own, teaching them to fight like they did in 16th century feudal japan to protect themselves as that’s what he did when he was young.

Yoshi is a wise man, being a prominant figure for his sons. He is introverted but lights up inside when his sons are happy, proud of every single one of them.

However, even with his positive influence on the boys, Yoshi is cowardly. He'd rather hide in the sewers than face the ones hes scared of most. He trains his sons not to fight but to protect themselves. If it was up to him they wouldnt leave at all but he knows thats not fair to them.

Wow holy crap im posting here for the first time in three years

I’ve gone down the TMNT rabbit hole and feel like sharing my own iteration. A lot of it feels sacrilegious, but I swear I have my reasons (most of which are just “I thought it was cool and I get to do whatever I want”)

These are my designs for the turtles!

Raph is a leatherback sea turtle

Mikey is a western painted turtle

Donnie is a green sea turtle

Leo is a western pond turtle.

These are the turtles I chose because… my TMNT takes place in Seattle instead of New York!!

Now BEAR W ME I SWEAR IM NOT CRAZY. I chose Seattle over New York because I live very close to Seattle, and I honestly think it’s a really good setting for a TMNT story!!

Each of the turtles I chose are native to the Pacific Northwest area!

I’d love to post more about this if people end up liking it!

For now, the placeholder name is pnwmnt (pacific northwest mutant ninja turtles), so I’ll tag it as such for the time being.
