    i’m going to be archiving this blog and moving lucifer to @excathedras​.  i’m currently running three active blogs and a lot of my muse gets lost with my laziness of having to log in and out and see who messaged me where and all that junk,  so i’m biting the bullet and admitting that i have more than one ( i’m at a comfy nine total rn ).

     LUCIFER  GLANCES  DOWN  THE  worn path,  etched into an unformed Earth,  leading into a tangled wood of untamed purposelessness,  a canvas for what,  Lucifer isn’t sure.  The potential attracts him,  as does everything about Earth.  It is an empty expanse,  a mini Heaven in its own way,  though it is defined by its mortality.  The trees will die,  the rocks will weather,  the mountains rise and fall as quick as mushrooms after a rain.  The rawness of it is a comfortable change from the refined perfection of Heaven,  and Lucifer thinks he prefers it.  “No roads here lead anywhere,”  he says,  “that doesn’t mean we can’t find things along the way.”  Of course, there is nothing there that Th’Omnipotent does not know,  but Lucifer hopes She will humour him ;  he does not want to return home so soon.

     LUCIFER’S  EYES  GLEAM  WITH  a ravenous amusement,  two black pearls drinking them in,  each twitch of their lips,  each rise and fall of their chest.  They babble and they beg,  trying to catch their breath and declare their love all at once.  He cannot help but smile against the hand that pets his cheek,  listening to that saccharine verse sung from Michael’s lips.  Lucifer rises from between their legs,  though it had been such a gratifying place to be,  and settles on their hips,  letting out a shuddering breath as they press against each other.  He braces himself,  putting his hand on the wine coloured pillows beside Michael’s head.  His thumb at their chin wills their mouth open,  and Lucifer pushes his index and middle fingers in shallowly,  gently.

     His gaze is unyielding,  taking in Michael in a way he has never seen them.  They are overwhelmed  and out of their depth,  splayed open in supplicant,  inexperienced conduciveness,  entirely at Lucifer’s mercy.  For all of his love,  Lucifer is still merciless,  and he arches his back against Michael, grinding lightly against them,  rubbing them together.  He teeters on the edge of his control, tempted to push down even harder and surrender to his desire.  However,  Lucifer knows there is a greater release to be had,  and it isn’t his.  He does this for Michael.  Still.  before either of them can glean too much pleasure from the friction of skin against skin,  Lucifer is gone,  pulling his fingers from Michael’s mouth and settling between their legs once more.  He pushes their legs apart and teases their entrance with his fingers.  “Relax for me,  sweetheart,”  Lucifer murmurs as he pushes in slowly.

     LUCIFER  CAN  ONLY  IMAGINE  the difficulty of discovering this knowledge now,  after witnessing the formidable capability for the despicable that humanity possesses and now understanding where it comes from.  They are slaves to the Tree,  slaves to being right,  slaves to winning,  slaves to godliness.  It cuts them down in droves.  With it,  however,  comes the understanding of goodness and its weight,  its meaning beyond pleasing Th’Omnipotent.  It gives reason to all action,  expanding upon the binary of “for the Father” and “against the Father”.  He watches it spread through Michael,  the fantastic horror of their  metamorphosis welling out of their eyes,   

     “I’m sorry it had to be this way,” Lucifer says,  and quite genuinely means it.  He remembers how good it once felt safely nestled by his Father’s breast,  complacently fed what he believed was the truth,  never wondering,  never questioning the integrity of the Creator.  Though,  Lucifer had never felt quite the same as the others,  being rebellious at his very root.  He was the first to fall,  but Heaven had never been his home.  For Michael,  the favoured,  powerful,  chosen,  Heaven was where they belonged,  The Authority is who they belonged to.  There is a great power in identity,  and with the bite of the apple,  that identity has been warped.  However Michael is now,  and is to become,  it is of their own creation.

     They hold Lucifer suddenly,  shaking against him,  and he embraces them tightly.  He feels like if he were to relinquish his grip even with a sigh,  Michael would fall away,  ascend back to heaven,  disappear for another century.  The hourglass sand runs eternally now,  but Lucifer can’t comprehend an existence where every glimpse upon Michael feels like it is his last and every meeting has as much chance of turning into a fight to death as it does a confession of love uttered through a single glance.  “I love you,”  he murmurs into their hair.  “There is nothing keeping us from each other any longer.”

     THEY  GO  SILENT  FOR  a long while,  Lucifer watching on as the thoughts swarm in Michael’s head like stormclouds churning in the hot afternoon sky.  Eve had done the same once,  trying to choose between rationality and commonality,  what she had learned and what she had been taught.  Lucifer told her that she could be a goddess,  and she is,  in her own right.  She has achieved eternal life,  discovered the Knowledge,  and is ingrained in human life for as long as Christianity holds merit.  But,  in spite of the similarities,  this time.  this temptation,  is entirely different.  Lucifer does not seek to spite or trick.

     This is an act of love in his eyes,  driven by the ferocious desire to love Michael and be loved by Michael without a trace of shame or misunderstading  or the crushing feeling of guilt knowing that they are,  to Th’Omnipotent,  evil.  That alone is enough to stir the ancient wrath within Lucifer,  to raise the question of heavenly war once more.  An angel,  damaged seemingly beyond repair,  cast out after a million lifetimes of unwavering loyalty is a tragedy enough,  but the scars of self - worth rooted so deeply within Him and suddenly torn out,  voided,  is even more tragic. 

      Lucifer reaches up for another fruit,  this time a little less perfect  as  it  doesn’t quite fit in the roundess of his palm.  This one was not meant for him.  He offers it to Michael,  trying to commit every word to his steadily failing mind.  “Take a bite,”  he soothes.  “You have nothing to fear from me.”

so anyway i work retail and we do an announcement basically saying “get our credit card !” and so my friend was gonna do one of them announcements and i walked over with her to be annoying and she pressed the button and then held the phone out for me to say it and guys. i just start cracking tf up. like. LOSING IT. i cannot control myself. i’m trying to say it but i’m just giggling and im like. trying so hard and then my friend jams the phone in my face so hard it just about goes into my mouth and i just. Grabbed it and held it to my chest for a solid ten seconds, still laughing my ass off for no good reason. and then i just hung up. and people could see this shit happening. if literally any other manager was working tonight i would be. done. so we’ll see
