Al didn’t even mean to ignore Violet, it
just kind of happened. He was too busy
focusing on the task at hand, neglecting
his injuries that he was struggling to sustain.
He hadn’t planned on killing he man.
Alphonse Elric did not kill unless absolutely
necessary. He had only planned on
restraining the man until military personnel
came to take him to be interrogated.
Once the man was withheld under the
branch, Al had the armor walk over to him
and lift the branch off before it roughly
picked him up and held him still, the red
irises burning bright with life. Al put a
hand over his injury, breathing heavily while
a steady stream of blood ran down from his
mouth. It was a good thing the armor was
there, or Al would have probably died
from his current injuries before he was
able to pull it off. He clapped his hands and
put it over the main wound, wincing as he
partially sealed it up to stop the blood flow.
Once he got the blood flow to stop, he
walked up to the man and took out his
pocket watch and held it up to him. “You’re
under arrest for the attempted murder of two
State Alchemists and multiple innocent bystanders.
You have the right to remain silent. Anything
you say can and will be used against you in
the presence of Fuhrer Grumman. You have the
right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an
attorney, one will be appointed to you by the Fuhrer…”
Al was having a hard time reciting his rights,
out of breathe, his wounds were taking a
large toll on him. Once he had him handcuffed,
he had to sit down on the ground. He held
his side and breathed heavily, blood dripping
from his mouth. By the time his sat down, Ed
was already by his side. “Alphonse!” He knelt
next to him and tried to help him up. “Al, come
on, you need to get up so we can get you inside.”
Al shook his head. “No… We need to contact the
military so they… Can come and get him…” Ed
frowned and him up and made him walk. The
armor followed behind Al like a lost puppy as it
carried the assassin in its arms.
Once they were inside, Ed helped Al onto the
operation bed that the Rockbell’s had. Pinako
ran in and helped Ed take off Al’s coat and shirt
so that they could address his wounds. There
was a large wound on his side that was bleeding
heavily, accompanied by a large burn mark that
was covering the majority of his back, and a little
of his chest. The bullet wound was nothing to laugh
at, either. It was actually surprising how he had
managed to survive. His will to live was very strong.

She was quick to skitter down from the tree, careful not to fall in her weakened state. Oh, what she wouldn't give for her powers right now, so she could at the very least suspend this joker in a bubble of plasmic energy. Then they wouldn't of had a problem in the first place. Her boyfriend wouldn't be almost dead, she herself wouldn't be dealing with what might have been a minor concussion and a few hairline fractures, and Ed wouldn't be having a heart attack, along with her entire family. Yeah, would have dodged a bullet for sure.
There was, of course, the occasional occurrence of her flickering out of existence like an old lightbulb, but that didn't help matters.
Violet watched worriedly as Pinako and Winry buzzed around Alphonse like concerned doctors, cleaning off what looked like an awful amount of blood and muttering discouraging things while they started to wrap him up. Edward looked as though he was about to have a heart attack out of worry, so Violet went up to him and said a few encouraging words.
At least, she did that for approximately fifteen seconds, up until she was quite literally ripped away from him by her family. Her father buried her in a bear hug while her mother scolded her about attacking the guy when she knew she wasn't in a fit state for it. Dash was running circles around them loudly retelling the play-by-play of the fight, as if it had been an action scene from a movie. It wasn't until Jack-Jack started loudly crying about fifteen minutes later that she finally was free of her parents and Dash, who was still dramatically overplaying the danger she'd been in.
He couldn't, however, overplay the danger Alphonse had been in. He had very nearly died, and he might subsequently die of his injuries at any point during the next day. She went up to the man trapped in the armour's arms. He looked bitter but defeated, and Violet was intimidated by him. It took her a minute to gather up the courage, but once she did, she balled up one of her fists and sucker punched the guy in the dick, and then in the jaw.
"Nobody messes with Alphonse Elric and gets away with it."
Violet turned before her bottom lip could start shaking, or her voice could start cracking or shaking. She felt a rush of adrenaline, but that wasn't the important matter here. Shaking her hand, she came up to Alphonse's bedside and joined Ed in worriedly looking over him, Winry and Pinako not far away.
