"Oh, hello, Alphonse. It's been a while."

Al’s eyes widened when he looked up and saw the familiar body of his girlfriend. He suppressed a nose bleed before walking up to her and gently grabbing her wrist; pulling her away from the poll.
He pulled her to the side where it wasn’t loud. “Violet; what are you thinking!? You’re better than this! Please treat yourself with respect!” Alphonse had refused to take the next step in their relationship until they were married; so he wondered if that had anything to do with this.
But if she had intended to get him aroused; she had obviously succeeded.
"Oh, will you relax?" She was kind of drunk, wearing expensive red and black lingerie, and making tons of cash. Violet saw no problem with this. The alcohol had eased off her anxieties, and the ten dollar bills poking out from her underwear helped as well. She may only be seventeen, but a sleazy joint like this didn't check your age, they took your word for it. She cocked her hip dramatically, hand on it.
"What in the star's shine are you doing here, anyway, hubby?" The term was spent jokingly, as she batted her glued on eyelashes. She was wearing an awful lot of makeup; enough that Violet was surprised he'd been able to recognize her. A glittery red nail jabbed at his face, missing slightly. She couldn't hold her alcohol as well as some people could, considering the fact that she was around a hundred pounds. "You're here to whore off on some girls, aren't you? And I thought you were the perfect boyfriend. Huh!" Her words slurred a bit at the end there.

"Good morning dear! Oh - be careful, there's a baby in there, you know." Violet greeted the morning and her daughter, who was sitting on her legs and leaning on her swollen stomach. The girls' raven hair and golden eyes were a perfect blend of her parents - Alphonse and Violet Elric. The man in question was currently asleep next to them. With one hand on her stomach and the other on the bed for support, Violet got up once peppy little Trisha was off of her. "Breakfast time?" Violet asked the four year old, who nodded with a grin. "Bakefest!" The young one chortled, and Violet chuckled. She put a hand on her lower back, other holding her daughter's hand, as they went into the kitchen.
The twenty-three year old was just getting into the last month of this pregnancy. She'd had Trisha at nineteen - young in her parent's opinion, and a bit young in Violet's, but it was fine. About a week ago Alphonse had called up her boss and reported that she'd be taking her two year maternity leave again. Violet worked in automail just like Winry, but unlike Winry, she wasn't one of a few who worked where she did. Violet worked in a Mom and Pop type place that sold stylized automail casings and parts, so it was alright if Violet was absent with pay for two years. After all, taking care of a child was hard work. She knew that for sure.
Violet groaned softly as Trisha watched her cook up bacon, eggs and potatoes all at the same time. Alphonse had painstakingly taught her to cook - Violet had been absolutely atrocious at it and Alphonse was the one who cooked dinner - but these things were simple, so she could do them without problem. However, Alphonse would be miffed that she was doing this without his help. She was having a few more troubles this time around - the doctor said that it was because of all the injuries she had as a younger one, from her superhero business - and there might be problems for the baby and during the actual birthing if she exerted herself or basically did anything. Since she might die, and Alphonse was determined to be sure she did almost nothing.
Trisha smiled broadly as Violet brought her breakfast. She was sitting on a pillow in order to reach the table, which Alphonse thought was one of the most adorable things in the world. With a bit of groaning, Violet managed to sit down herself. She was simply eating ginger salad, since ginger would calm her stomach and dark green leafy vegetables would keep her health up and in turn keep the unborn baby's health up. Violet was almost finished with her meal when Trisha was at her side, holding her hand. "S'ory!" The little girl chimed, and Violet chuckled. "A story? That won't be too hard, I would think." She slowly, painfully got up and wondered over to the bookcase with the little girl at her heels, picking out The House at Pooh Corner to read.
It was when she was finished that Alphonse finally joined them in the waking world. Dirty dishes in the sink, half eaten salad on a plate on the table, a book that belonged on the highest shelf in Violet's hands - he was going to have a fit. Violet was doing a ton of stuff she shouldn't have been. "Good morning, darling!" Violet chimed sweetly from couch, streams of warm dusted sunlight flowing onto her pale face. Trisha jumped up and gave the man a hug.

It was a lovely day outside. They were just going shopping in town, walking around, talking. It was somewhat cold, so both of them had on scarves and jackets - Violet was wearing a knit hat, and the both of them had one hand in a pocket and the other holding each other's free hands. The few bags they had - books they'd wanted to purchase - were slung in the arm at the elbow. There were almost no people around. In fact, the only person was a silent man that was walking about a block behind them, gazing in the shop windows as he went. Almost all of the shops here were closed for Sunday Mass - religion was unfortunately quite big here - so the three of them were alone. Alphonse was telling Violet all about how Roy Mustang, his brother's superior, was sweet on on his coworker Riza Hawkeye, when the hair on the back of Violet's neck stood up. Her father had told her long ago that supers had a sixth sense thing for danger, and that she would use it one day - this was what it was. Her very own, much less finely tuned, weaker Spider Sense.
"Watch out - !" She called to Alphonse. Then there was a bang, and someone had hit her over the head, hard. Violet was sent sprawling onto the pavement. She could feel the warm, sticky sensation of blood running down through her hair and into her back. It was the man. He had a bad look in his eyes - one Violet had seen many times - and she knew this guy was dangerous. She jumped up to throw herself between Alphonse and the man, but it wasn't necessary - he was definitely after her. There was a confused shout as she was thrown through the window of the abandoned shop across the street. She shook it off with some difficulty, and then Violet got up to fight. She couldn't use her powers here, and she was weakened by the change of universes, but she was a fighter and was protective of Alphonse. Both of them were running at her, but Alphonse was stopped quite suddenly by a clap and a touch to the wall - so this man had committed the ultimate taboo as well. Perhaps his payment had been his sanity.
And then, in a flash, she and him were brawling quite ruthlessly. Every few seconds the man would trap Alphonse again, who was getting very angry, and dodged most if not all of his attacks, usually putting Violet in the danger zone so Alphonse was essentially beating up his own girlfriend. Violet chipped one of his teeth, the man cracked her jaw, Violet broke two of his ribs, he broke at least five of hers - he was too powerful. This world had weakened her. She was flashing out and in of sight like a low battery warning, powers glitching again. "Alphonse! Help m - !" Violet was interrupted by a blow to the chest that knocked all the wind out of her. She broke another of his ribs with a hard hit of the elbow, Alphonse broke out, the man tossed her up and cracked her over his knee. She screamed in pain. That was a bad hit to the back, and sent her crashing to the ground as the man trapped Alphonse again. Another thirty seconds and Violet was close to dead, but still fighting. She was so broken. An arm, half of her ribs, her jaw, one of her feet, the other one's ankle, one of her wrists, she had a nosebleed, he'd torn a hole in her torso - she'd done damage to him in similar places, opened him up too, but it wasn't as bad.
The man was choking her while, with her one good hand, she was giving him hard punches to the nose that kept getting weaker and weaker. The enemy was distracted long enough to finally stop surrounding Alphonse in thick layers of dirt and stone that were sent down seconds later. Once her boyfriend seized the man, she dragged herself away with her good hand, lying down in the corner to bleed out silently. As her vision clouded she watched half in fear and half in admiration as Alphonse lost his lid, beating the hell out of her maniacally laughing attacker. She'd never seen Alphonse angry before.

Al had just gotten his body back, and it had been his first time seeing Violet in his body. It had been a few year since he had met her, so it wasn’t a surprise that his body was no longer that of a child’s, and had matured within the gate.
Of course, Violet hadn’t recognized Alphonse; but he didn’t blame her. She had no idea what he looked like other than some vague ideas that he had given her. Once he told her who he was, he couldn’t hold back his feelings anymore, and before he knew it, he had kissed her on the lips (rather passionately).
He had been limited to his actions for so long; and now he was finally able to kiss someone he loved, other than only being able to offer a cold metallic hug as affection that he himself couldn’t even feel.
He just hoped he wouldn’t be rejected.
Violet, of course, was shocked to see the blonde was Alphonse. He was... really handsome, actually. Similar looking to his brother, but his hair was in a better cut and he was overall definitely the more attractive of the two. His golden eyes were incredible - far overshadowing her own dark blue ones. By now he wasn't scrawny and thin like she'd expected a neglected body to be. He was also dressed sharply, which was always a great thing. The man looked good in a waistcoat.
Surprised by the kiss - not in a bad way - it was a second before her eyes closed. Violet was suddenly aware of what all those sappy love songs her mother loved were talking about. A hand went on her shoulder, another on her waist, and Violet could feel a rose blush on her cheeks. When he pulled back, let go, and stared at her with those warm golden eyes, all she could do was give him a huge smile.
"Really feel that way, huh?" The raven asked, biting her lip and unable to stop smiling. She had more of a warm glow on her face now, and she chuckled. This was the first time he was able to touch her, to feel her. She smelled of Violets. "I feel the same way."
