Hi !
Always a joy to draw them as kids ;)
One Detail in Loboto’s Labyrinth is the lamp above the portrait of Loboto in the main office area, turns into Gristol Crown as the room keep changing !!
raptor hands
brain (and small child) only network
Raz from the mailroom.
Hypothetically if Raz ever went Maligula'd do you think his water attacks would also take the shape of some animal or something else
possibly!
I feel more like his thing would be a shit ton of psychic water fists? i think bc of how psipunching is like, his default attack and no one else seems to use that aha
Hands seem to be Raz’s default psychic shape. There’s the psi-punching - with he knew how to do even before he came to camp, which means he didn’t learn it from anyone else. And then there’s also the Hand of Galochio - Raz’s subconscious waterphobic hydrokinesis manifested as hands, too.
Now I wonder if the hands thing could be tied to a sense of control? He’s trained as an acrobat, which takes a lot of physical control that most people can’t don’t have. Could it carry to his psychic powers?
Razputin’s Deluge would be a lakeful of water in the shape of fists smashing down - but maybe the hands could also take innocent people to safety.
No clue where this image on the wiki came from.
But, no shock, I like it.
more psychic seven!
He's been remembering things.
maligula fancam i made for twitter? girlboss of grulovia 😳
Said I was using these as warmups and instantly changed direction, here’s three more days!
shh it’s a quiet place
Psychic 6 more like Psychic Soaked amiright? Right...? Tough Crowd
+ additional scene
losing my MIND over these datamined dialogue lines
Those exact lines are still in the game:
Of course, he only meant that he was going to turn Lucy into Maligula again. I never thought of the implications that he might have meant Raz. But now I am, and... whoa. That would have been an amazing twist.
Abused my nepwehs finger paint to paint thorney tower home of the disturbed lol
....Do you ever think about How Gristol Malik in his Nick persona was apperantly liked by pretty much everyone at the Motherlobe and how people constantly stress how good he was at sorting mail? Because I think about that way too much, because on one hand he probably loathed every second of being nice to those people but on the other hand I can't help but imagine canon divergence where he actually manages to pull his head outta his ass for five minutes and realizes he has a pretty good deal going on here so he just becomes a spoiled rich boy who also works the mailroom at psychonauts headquarters and goes Bowling with his co-workers on the weekends and the entire plot of the second game doesn't happen because of that. I don't know just the idea of the "Evil genius master plan " he set up just fizzling out anticlimaticaly is deeply funny to me. (Also inspired by me being awkward and thinking "God I would break my own neck to have co-workers who think that highly of me")
Nick putting off his plan until next week because Thursday is the potluck and there’s a contest for best dessert and he found a recipe for double fudge brownies that will for SURE prove him the superior baker, lifting him to his rightful place above these peasants
Nick putting off his plan for a month because oh my GOD it’s the holiday season and everyone gets their personal packages sent to work and if he mails his body to himself now it’ll almost certainly get lost under twenty five million boxes of presents and he’ll have to waste so much time digging it out
Nick putting off his plan for another month because someone let slip that the office is planning a surprise birthday part for him and well, he’s not going to let all that hard work go to waste–er, that is, he’s not going to pass up a chance to be the center of attention and get presents and free cake
We’ve all noticed that his plan really falls apart towards the end (step three: wake up Maligula; step four: ???; step five: be ruler of Grulovia). Maybe one day he sets down and actually tries to plot out step four, and realizes that god, taking over a whole country is really hard. And sorting mail isn’t that hard. And he can afford plenty of caviar on his current salary.
He’s not giving up on his plan! He’s definitely going to be Gzar! He’s just…not actively pursuing that career path right now. That’s all.
Now you may think this is the better and brighter timeline but consider this:
Without Gristol’s plan setting things in motion, none of the good that comes of it happens either. Helmut never gets found. Cassie stays lost, Compton stays isolated, Ford stays broken. Bob is still alone.
I dunno about you guys, but that sounds like a pretty dark timeline to me.
@ospreyonthemoon now that’s what I’m fucking TALKING about
Gristol sneaking into Sasha’s lab and trying to get Loboto to tell him where he put Truman’s brain, but Loboto literally can’t because of what Gristol did to him
So Gristol and Loboto are whisper screaming at each other “tell me where you put the brain!” “you said not to tell anyone!” “anyone else!” “you didn’t specify!” “I shouldn’t have to specify!” “well apparently you did!” “fine, I told you not to tell anyone, now I am telling you to tell me!” “no!” “why???” “because you’re a bad person and I don’t want to help you!”
You definitely have a point that the whole game storyline led to some good results for the old Psychic Seven. You also have a point that having Grisol initiate his plan and then desperately try to abort it is even more hilarious than him just hanging out sorting mail.
Gristol shows up at the end in Truman’s body, but instead of pulling Rax out of Lucy’s mind he just stands around feeling very nervous about what he has done. If it was a good idea. What he’ll do if Maligula does awaken. Does he even know what to do with a killing machine like that? (No. No he doesn’t.)
...and then he needs to get his body back. Aaawkward.
