[ â ââ â ; ] It was not oft that she spent much time at Grimmauld Place without Harry or Ron, but venturing throughout the withered halls of peeling wallpaper and bellowing portraits seemed hardly a fancy yet she did it all the same. Weaving through creaking archways and doors that hissed, she makes a quick pace to the each room for a modest inspection.
Not that young witch worries much but itâs always better to be safe than sorry in this newfound world of hers. Yet, darker hair decked with pinkish twinge catches her eye, fingers hanging on the moulding of a door as she spies within. Lips purse into a smile, eyes lighting up at the familiar sight of the youthful woman metamorphmagus, currently looking rather disgruntled at the Black family tree. A subject best not to touch onâŚÂ
ââ Oh, Tonks, I didnât know you were here. I thought I was alone⌠Is the rest of the Order back already?â
[ â ] Trailing through the dusted halls of Grimmauld place; a mixture of vibrant colours contrasted the dreary wallpaper which had remained on the walls for years before her years. Each booted foot borne louder whilst each step carried her through the corridors; vengeful voice of Kreacher murmuring through her hummed tune â then no heed was paid his way as she descended the numerous flights of stairs. Hum neâer ceasing from pursed lips as they set the background to such joyful actions which prevailed through such aesthetic dullness; ah life with a bit colour never hurt anyone â but Black suggested the culmination of dullness. However, they family wall decoration was a rather catching sight to behold; one which drew her back again for mere reasons of admiration and nothing else.Â
Tonks stood with face forward toward the green backâd family tree; singed faces dotted about the entire expanse of the wall; exposed digits caressing the each burn with a softened expression donned upon young features. With dulcet tone flitting to break still air; vibrant, gleaming eyes turned their intention towards the source of such a tone and thus a lengthy smile was produced on her features.
â Hermione â uhm â no; ah I think everyoneâs still coming back â yâneed something? â while providing her response; gaze drifted toward the young witch and remained there whilst lean frame slouched onto the lineage wall accompanied with both appendages lapping each other about the breadth of her chest..
Tonks made a brave, public declaration of her feelings for Remus, who was forced to admit the strength of his love for her. In spite of continuing misgivings that he was acting selfishly, Remus married Tonks quietly in the north of Scotland, with witnesses taken from the local wizarding tavern. He continued to fear that the stigma attached to him would infect his wife and wished for no fanfare around their union; he swung constantly between elation that he was married to the woman of his dreams and terror of what he might have brought upon them both.

The air was thick with the traces of auras plagued by mourningâsuch things did not change so easily, such identities did not dull and wane with the weather, and yet this was fact. She hadnât know the man personally, the one who died, and despite the Quibblers persistence that Sirius Black was not who he appearedâthey had not predicted this eventuality. It was plenty for the average mind to sort through, and while Luna Lovegood hardly boasted great intellect, not to say she did or did not have it, she was very much known for her unyielding insight.
And so, with what had been witnessed so far that evening, she came to the conclusion that simply enough Sirius Black was loved.
And even as he had been dragged just beyond the veil, heâd torn pieces of the hearts of those that would mourn him along.
Still, she made no comment as careful silvery eyes caught Harry PoâHarry. Just Harry, being led away by a man they had once called their professor. A man who too seemed quite broken. The petite blonde would speak her piece to the boy savior later, when the wound was not so fresh. For now, she turned those same careful eyes to survey the rest of the groupâbattle worn yet valiant all the same.
The memories of the recent events were sorting themselves out within her head, painting a clearer picture than they had in the chaos of the moments. They tooâŚall could have died. And though she did not fear death, she was grateful to keep her life, to not leave her father alone. This inspired her to seek out the ornate individual who had quite literally swept in to personally save the youngers day.
âââŚâ Luna didnât know the womanâs name. ââyouâre entirely courageous. I owe you an unyielding gratitude.â
T here she sat; with eyes tracing singes upon leathery fabric, sooted and ash remained for moments before being swept away with one swift motion. Darkly hued eyes sparked with traces of watery tears filling their aqueous surface past the filling point, brimming and threatening to pass over the edge onto stainless, cheery cheek. The loss of a great man had only now fallen upon her shoulders; a shudder flitting through body in shock â fluorescent pink dimming to a darker lengthâd ochre; it was a relief that the prospect of death had not been normalised to her.
An eerie stillness came to her body; remaining quietly still while events sank into memory and were signed to be fact â a fact wherein none wished to acknowledge. The pain in which they all felt was numbing; a great man departed from this world tonight â thankfully there had been no greater causality count for the Order. A breath, a sigh of relief came airâs way; { Hogwarts was looking nice this time of year. Scotland did look oh so appealing through this time of year } -- distracting herself with such idle thoughts; well, it had worked for the fleeting moment in which she had felt . Tonks could only look to the stony flooring and hope for all to run smoothly once more.
Then came the call of a soft voice ; bringing a stray crown of ochre to motion toward the source, an endearing tone setting in within each dark pool of light. She had saved her â a movement which had been too dynamic to an extent where only the shade of pristine of halcyon. Fluxing crown bowed; flitters of laughter break melancholy line; curling grin of joy taking place in steed of sombre expression which dominated her features. Exposed digits interlocked with the corresponding pairs; lightened emotion shown with tiers pushing upward upon the higher point of a single side.
â  Oh -- ? â [ hoarse voice breaking from respite and clearing through the block which had hindered her speech momentarily ] â Iâm Tonks; just so youâd know --  â [ to make some leeway for better acquaintancy ] â I don't think I caught your name ... â

WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
ⰠBrows perk upward with curiosity; turning with speed to look onward with brimming excitement with such a question placed forward. With wandering, colliding thoughts; to arrange all would bring about the loss in trains of thought toward other ideas which may be cast astray forever within the ocean of thought. Situating her rear upon the precipice of the nearby table: index, middle and thumb clasped the curve of her chin, with interest embedded within her features, the question stirs what seems to be such â though moods rarely fluxed when out of company; and the elated manner in which she conducted herself was forever accompanied by the delightful demeanour. Enthralled by the inquiry, by thought, at this point; Tonks kept her place and allowed for her mind to be enamoured by the vivid reminiscence of past times wherein she had felt her mood lifted from the mires of mundane boredom and to the high perched position it would continue to remain for longer than known to her.
â Interesting question; â she started, with delight flitting about each delicate plump tier; digits moving to fully cover dextral cheek with no intentions of movement from there. Uncoordinated leg swung itself to rest atop the other by the hinge of the dominant. â Really itâs just being around others; they act in ways that make me feel happy; do silly things â people are just filled with fun and adventure; good jokes too. â her voice flowed freely with the sounds of delight embedded within each syllable; there had been no further ways in which her mood would be lighten â company was and is the best way to bring about a better mood. âą
