what if interview with the vampire was called interfreaky with the freakypire and the script was the exact same and nothing changed
That little connexion between Louis and Madeleine, her not being able to read his mind but still reading him through the bond? I hate that his first fledgling will be connected to a tragic event forever,Louis your life is so tragic I hate that for you
The ''you asked me to delete your memories'' I can already see some tiring discourse coming about Louis...
I loved Lestat's appearance but I feel like dreamstat lessened the impact,I was still excited when I saw him
Oh and do we agree Real Rashid is a spy or something ?
Young Daniel reminds me so much of Casey Frey it’s crazy
"128 boys he brought here" oh armand, you'll always be the other woman
I thought he just ate them
Armand basically: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wxiugsEhm3I&pp=ygUZbWFyaW8gYnJlYWsgdXAgZ3VjY2kgbWFuZQ%3D%3D
Because I think some people have forgotten this.
In the very first episode of s1, Louis made it very clear that his Big Man on Liberty was an act, and he hated it. I doubt for a second that Armand knows how much Louis hated being that man, he knew that when he told Louis about his past but it's a way to assert control, again dominance through submission. He even counted it as one of his top sins when he was confessing. He's definitely not this Daddy Dom some of y'all seem to think he is.
Some of the posts I've read really make me understand that a lot of y'all don't understand soft power or using submission to dominate or Armand seeming to be the opposite of Lestat to lure Louis in or that "sweet, submissive Armand" chokeslammed Claudia and Santiago both in the span of a few minutes belittling and insulting very much dominating them asserting his power over them. He subdued an entire restaurant with a word, being his power that has the strength to shake buildings crashing down on them or that Armand was telepathically commanding Louis to stop when he pounced on Santiago.
Even earlier, his "suggestion" for Louis not to visit Roget again was very much framed as a command. Resorting to mental and physical assault when things don't go his way like with Lestat, like with Louis, like with Claudia.
Pretending to lose control of the coven/pretending to secede power to Louis to make himself look weak so he can pin his plan for Claudia on Santiago and co (he very much could have prevented it, he just didn't fucking want to. He was tired of the coven, and Claudia was in the way) Threatening Claudia with her Maker's fate? Hello?
There's also a huge disparity in age, experience, abilities, and power between them, even more so than with Lestat. Armand knows pretty much everything about Louis, and Louis knows very little about Armand.
When we say Armand is worse than Lestat, we fucking mean it.
Before you squeal about submissive Armand, think about how Armand behaving in certain ways would strike a chord with Louis, especially when Louis hasn't committed to him and had no intention to.
The snippet of Armand's backstory is tragic, horrific, and heartbreaking, but think about why he would tell Louis about it at this point. Louis even clocks what Armand is doing before he tells him about his past ffs "vintage Lioncourt". Armand, who has rifled through Louis's mind already and knows exactly what points he needs to hit to reach Louis, who is a caretaker with a weakness for pitiful cases.
I really wish that people would stop forgetting that Armand is Armand regardless of anything else
