Rejection.
My mind and heart weigh heavy tonight not knowing my little prince Fusion’s whereabouts. I hope that you are out there somewhere safe and sound; that you’ll appear at the footsteps of my parents’ home. I won’t be able to bear any bad news, the guilt of having abandoned my pets is a continual cycle... please please please be okay.
WHAT WILL YOU THINK ABOUT WHEN YOU DON’T HAVE TO THINK ABOUT MONEY?

Why stop dreaming when you're awake? Daydreaming is sometimes more exhilarating.

Life.
Today I found myself feeling sad, sad that the man who broke into our home might be going to prison for at least 2 years. I feel so bad because despite all the angst I feel whenever I am alone, it doesn't compare to what his daughters will feel if he does go to prison.
That night when I called the police, I felt it was the right thing to do... what if I didn't report the break in and he continued to ransack the entire neighborhood? I wasn't seeking revenge, maybe a little bit of justice.
So I should be happy to hear that he is going to get his punishment, right? Just being in his presence makes me uneasy, but I don't want him to go to jail. For the sake of his daughters, I hope that he gets off with a more lenient punishment.
The only reason we were present at this hearing was because we were subpoenaed, we didn't ask to be present, to testify. There is no replacing what was lost, so all I wanted to do since that night is forget and move on. He wanted my dad to lie and say he didn't break in... but that isn't right either.
I understand it is a terrible situation for his family, but regardless what state he was in when he broke in, he still did it.
AH! Why do I feel so guilty? Why would you break into someone's house, when you have your little ones waiting at home for you? Why? :(
Court was extremely stressful! At least the rain was there to sooth me
