Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup cocoa powder. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 2 teaspoons baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 2 large eggs. 1 cup whole milk. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Line a muffin tin with paper liners. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Gently fold in the semisweet chocolate chips. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your delicious double chocolate muffins!
