Some people (especially on Twitter) are so entitled about Artfight that it infuriates me. Do you guys even consider the logistics of all this. Does anyone know anything about mass image hosting and web development. Domains. What it must cost to have a package that accounts for an influx and increase (that has been steadily upwards) for one month of the year and downtime for the rest. "They make do much money, so theres no excuse—" shut the fuck up pleeeease shut the fuck up youre so annoying. You sound like a toddler!! God. There have been valid reasons to criticize artfight but you people are seriously moaning and whining over a wait time? Oh my god 😭 I wish artfight never went mainstream if I knew bitches on Twitter were going to try to cancel it over nothing and then complain during the season. Just shut UPPPP

Whenever I get scared of being canceled in relation to the fear of success/moral OCD I just look at Ghost & Pals because that motherfucker is foul and yall STILL wish better for them before their victims

You see this with wolfertinger666/puppychan too where people won't let go of them and/or forget or misrepresent (to the creators favor) facts just because they have art that they enjoy/they're good at their craft.

The notion that bad people = bad at things is not only dangerous and wrong for a variety of reasons but just blatantly untrue. Suck it up. If it's that bad just download their old music. Why are you guys still platforming ghost and acting like what happened was just petty drama and not years or even a decade of them not being checked for ANY of the things theyve done and worse

Moreover someone can be shitty and still have bad things happen to them as well. This does not negate the prior point, especially if they have NOT changed and do not care to and even SAID they don't more than once. i might get jumped for this but yall made the ArtFight rule (which had been a rule for a while (though I agree some aspects were dumb)) thing into way bigger a debacle than it needed to be

also understand the point of not wanting to be super aggro/come off poor to people, especially those who are new to art, low on time, etc. but. i DO actually think there should be some mild penalization for traced art vs 100% self-done/self-made art. when i say traced im not talking about using yourself for a reference (i think thats fine and the fact that that was even barred before.. something they quite literally cannot prove, is goofy af) or hell even some guidelining but. if someone heavily references a base and they can get the same amount of points as someone who is doing their own thing thats kinda a problem 2 me. shrugs I don't feel like my wording is proper here, my friend put it better than I did. "I disagree w this choice, there should be a tick for traced art. Cause why would i make a full art piece instead of tracing smth now if ill just get the same points"
