Getting valsartan that isn’t recalled
When your dad is your patient and is CANCER FREE
Ok kids we are BACK! I’ll restart posts slowly and steadily and will need your help so please submit!
It's my birthday!! I took 30% off my TOP TEN favorite items in the shop. If your school has an organization with a fundraising code, you can save ON TOP of the birthday discount! I'm not going to tell you which items, you'll have to see for yourself!
Just one more week until thanksgiving break. Then finals. THEN WINTER BREAK. Snag these awesome ugly sweaters from the online shop!
If you're not already following on insta, I'm doing a day in the life of a drug information pharmacist on my Instagram stories (also tons of product sneak peeks and announcements)
Check out Facebook, Instagram, or the online shop every Saturday to see the new releases. Of course, you can use the free shipping code on all purchases all month!
The post I never wanted to write
Like struggling to keep up with posts to keep you entertained during class, I struggled greatly about writing this post, or even if I should write one at all. I know you guys are 4 weeks into the semester. I so greatly wished I could have kept the posts coming so y'all could stifle your laughter during the most god awful Med Chem class. Life doesn't always happen the way we want it.
You know I recently launched my online shop (shameless plug, but you should go to www.ipreferyoucallmedoctor.com/shop), and it was labor of love for about a year and a half and i kicked it into full gear over the summer while taking my summer break on posts. I was SO excited when it finally launched, equally so because that meant that it was time for you guys to be back in class and going back to killing time on this tumblr. The day after I launched the shop, my dad was diagnosed with stage IV cancer.
It was a lot to take in at once. I thought I could do it all. I thought I could do my actual job as an oncology pharmacist, be a budding entrepreneur and run my shop, be an awesome blogger and post every day on this site, and also be a caretaker. I could not. It is hard. it is so hard especially for someone who works with cancer patients every day. My dad just needed me to be his daughter. So that is what I chose to do. I obviously still go to work because ya girl’s got loans to pay. I still run and plug the shop because, quite honestly the start up fees were pretty high, and I am just his daughter.
That means I had to stop posting for a little bit. Please know that all I ever wanted to do with this site was to be your comic relief, to be your study break, and to be your support. Unfortunately, these are just that-- wants. So as I continue down this journey with my dad, I will try my best to keep with consistent posting. When I am not, those are times I need your prayers the most. It is a good opportunity for you to submit posts of your own to keep the fun going. Quite honestly it would be a huge help--also because I'm 4 years post grad and maybe a little out of touch with what is going on in pharmacy schools these days. Until then, thank you for always coming back. thank you for being here for each other. and the biggest thank you for giving me a life outside pharmacy (except this is also pharmacy related...)
PS HAYUGE line of christmas items for the shop are being lined up. Stay tuned!
