All grown up
We all couldn't wait to grow up when we were young. No bed times, watch whatever we wanted on tv, do whatever we want. It sounded do nice. Boy were we wrong. We're all grown up Wait that girls hurting herself? She so pretty. 2 & a half weeks clean? When did she start i had no idea All grown up She smokes now? Since when? She was always one of the good kids All grown up He has a kid? A one night stand that ended up with a life time commitment All grown up She claims shes sober? I didn't even know she started. All grown up Pregnant with her second kid, second baby daddy, doesn't talk to either of them. All grown up Here comes another 3am twitter rant, he must be drunk again All grown up Is single, is in a relationship, it's complicated All grown up He died. Isn't this what we wanted? To be all grown up? Our bedtimes are now blacking out because we drank to much. Watching hours of mindless television instead of going outside. Doing whatever we want has changed from playing with dolls to meaningless sex & harmful substances. This is what we wanted. How stupid were we?
