They are hyacinth macaws and they are quite big. We had a couple at the zoo I interned at and they are so beautiful. One of them, Ben, loved girls and would get very attached to them and was constantly seeking attention but if he liked you and you had him on a t perch he’d often get very sticky and wouldn’t get off the perch because he loved you too much, which gets old fast cause he’s pretty heavy. If all you see are small parrots and cockatiels you don’t realize how big parrots can get but macaws can be absolutely massive
