Issy read the text and within moments she was slipping on her boots and climbing out the window of her home. Right now more then ever Issy just needed an escape and it seemed fitting that she’d fall into her old ways to do that.

She responded to the text as she climbed into her car, crossing town in only fifteen minutes. Letting herself into the Greyson home she made her way up to Ira’s room. “I’m calling dibs on two of those bottles.” Issy said as she entered her friends room, tossing herself onto the bed.

Delilah leaned out of the shower as she heard her phone bing at the incoming text. Reading it, she leaned a bit further to shout out to where she knew Ira’s room to be across the hall. “Hold on, I’m naked!” After rinsing herself off quickly, she hopped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around herself and made her way to her friends room after grabbing her clothes. “I also volunteer my pot brownies to put into the mix.”
"Wine’s in the closet. I didn’t chill it, but I only have reds so it should be fine.” Ira half-hugged both of the girls as each of them entered, ignoring Delilah’s mostly-naked form. “Pot brownies would be very welcome as far as I’m concerned, I only have the plain ones because I’d planned on sharing with the house. So, movies? Singing and dancing? Braiding each other’s hair and gossiping about boys? What should we do first?”

The most intimidating part of coming home was always boiled down to a singular experience for Sampson. The grocery store. Standing the cereal aisle of the Stop and Shop, Sam just started at all the boxes in awe. He felt like there were always more when he came back. But then, he wasn’t really used to shopping like this. After a while of trying to pick out a cereal, he gave up and just stared at the boxes, willing one to look pleasing. He was about to walk away when he noticed someone else. Glancing toward them, “If you had to pick one cereal to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?”
“Cheerios, maybe Rice Krispies or one of the Chex ones. You know, something plain I could add fun things to without worrying too much about it tasting bad.” Ira glanced over, offering a smile and a shrug. “That or one of the fruity ones for kids. They change the formula from time to time so the flavor changes a bit. I’ve probably got a nice long life ahead of me so I don’t want to get stuck with anything boring, you know?” She tossed a few boxes of the Rice Krispies in her cart, plus a box of both the pebbles cereals. “What about you?”

“I’d say it’s probably your fault. We haven’t had many electricity problems lately, and we’re not that small of a town.”

It was no surprise the entire town was in a mess of problems and you’d think with the killer being caught, things might actually get a chance to finally calm down for once. But naturally, it seemed fate had other plans for Hollow Grove. “Whoa there, Ra.” He says catching her with an effortless grace as his arms wrapped tightly around his twin. It seemed between Charlie and his sister, all the most important woman in his life were baring the weight of the stress the most. The idea made his stomach queasy and he wished there was more then he could. “What’s wrong, are you okay?” The paranoia was growing and he couldn’t help but pull his sister back a little, eyes quickly scanning over for any noticeable bleeding or bruising. Werewolf or not, she was still the younger one if only by a few spare moments. “Also quit the smoking, smells awful sis.”
“I’m fine, Alexi. Promise,” she reassured him, offering a faint smile when he pulled away. “I just needed...I don’t know. Something. Soph and the pack are all pretty busy with everthing that’s been happening, Delilah’s been with Issy, Issy’s got a lot on her plate. Outside of them I’ve only got a few people in town I talk to, and out of everyone I just wanted to see you. Remind myself you’re real and you’re here and alive, I guess.” She rolled her eyes, wrinkling her nose at him. “Oh, bite me, at least I don’t smoke those cigars dad likes. Besides, it isn’t even the worst of my habits.”
