I don't really like it when people act like you can't criticize Vitani's TLG season 3 redesign because it is "canon". I do not mean people who just like the redesign. Liking it is okay.

When I say this, I am referring to people who act like you're not allowed to criticize it, cause it was her appearance in one form of official media.

As for those who act like you simply can't criticize it... That's not her only design shown in official media, and plus, the design is somewhat illogical given, why would she change that much and in THAT way, especially in so short a timeframe? And why is she missing certain markings like her ear marking? And why does she look like her skull shape changed?

Plus, these same people usually don't feel obligated to stick to the way characters like Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kovu, and even Zira and Nuka look and act in the Lion Guard... Largely in part, because a large amount of those are obvious downgrades. Most people don't feel obligated to those designs. Why is Vitani the exception...? It's often her in specific who I see getting this sort of hyperfeminizing treatment in the fandom. Alongside the unfortunate "Housewife of random guy #559347" treatment... It feels weird...
