Um sorry to interrupt the tag but can someone make recommendations about blogs with Rhys contents? Like not only OMFD shit but also old old shit that's been dug up from the corners of the internet so that I can catch up with this man's quarter of a century TALENT plz thank you
The Odd Couple: Heterosexual guys being married
will all four odd couple (1970) fans make some noise
Rush Hour films have made me wonder what it will be like to have interracial gay dads.
Is there a New Tricks Sherry fandom or fandot anywhere plz get in touch I'll kill for it
I've always had a thing about 50-60 yr old gentlemen and forceful competitive women
so this show really feels like a dream come true
I mean the wonderful four in the first few seasons are basically my idea of the essence of human beings, no matter how messed-up those four really are
And yes yes yes to Sherry coz the UST is so obvious and they do look like what each other deserves

What I want to say:
I love you so much
What I actually do:
Put my hand on my mouth so she won't hear this dry throwing up sound when I get overwhelmed by stupid emotions through the phone
I know I posted about it before, but Robbie Lewis at the end of “The Remorseful Day” is killing me.
His DCI and friend is in the hospital, and he knows he probably won’t make it and is still trying to do his job and then you see him getting the phone call and his face just falls when he hears it’s about Morse
And then, afterwards, when he already knows Morse is dead but the audience doesn’t, his whole body language screams pain
I mean, the man has arrested a murderer but he’s just done with it all
Look at this
utterly defeated.
And then he’s listening to a confession - a confession - which will probably also help him greatly to finally be made an Inspector, it’s been established that he passed the test with flying colours but he’s completely uninterested
Couldn’t care less if he tried
Until the murderer says “Morse will understand” and all the grief just bursts out
They didn’t have to keep the camera rolling on his expression, but they did. Thanks guys.
And then of course he says goodbye in the morgue, making the last line of an iconic TV show his own
I just - I mean - Damn, Kevin Whately. Damn.
And that's how your chipper baby sergeant turned into this kind as usual but sorta disillusioned DI overnight...
Now, they say that the public thought Alan Davies should have been casted as Doctor Who.
I think he should've been casted for Clara Oswald
Coz he's just so impossible
Browsing Alan Davies gifs is like watching pet vids on YouTube. Soaked in cuteness. Unbe-fucking-livably satisfied.
I went to Les Mis concert this Wednesday.
I lived in another country before 15, and never had a chance or the money to go to the theatre to watch it for the 4 yrs I've stayed in the UK.
This summer I finally got a job that covers my expenses to travel to London. On the other hand, I have been so very in love with the story since 13, when the movie was on in China, started reading the brick and finding any adaptation available to watch/read, and have always been going back to it in hard times.
Being this cold stern woman whose mom called me indifferent, I went into the Les Mis concert totally prepared to be touched but not to shed any tear. Despite the show is like the love of my life, I'm not used to crying over anything fictional, or for any emotion other than anger.
And the concert started. I got chills the moment Look Down started playing, quietly wept at Lovely Ladies. But it was when Cosette and Valjean left Montfermeil that I started sobbing... and I basically didn't stop toward the end of Act 1.
It's not the character's death scenes that struck me the most, mainly how they were so alive and lively, and shined with hope in their eyes. I basically could't control myself when Eponine flirted with Marius, knowing that Cosette would come up and E's feelings are never going to be returned; when the ABCs gathered revolutionists up and roared 'every man will be a king', knowing that they were going to die in vain; when Javert swore to God and he'll fulfill his responsibility, knowing that he'll be saved and that sent him over the edge...
Weird enough, I only cried once, for Eponine, in Act 2. My favourite character has always been Javert, but I was not specificly touched by his parts, at least not as much as when I watched TAC or the German production's recordings... that's probably to do with Ball's portrait being different from what I expected.
Also I guess, in general it's not the sad ending that upsets me the most, but the fact that... the characters, albeit seeing them coming, always held hope. And that hope failed them. All of them.
