Hm...interesting question to consider, I think Lee would try to adjust to things that Carter likes, because that’s one of the hardest things for him, he’d definitely make more effort in enjoying his time in America for the sake of his bf (damn it now you’re giving me fic ideas)

@maonethedwarf did this for the movie versions of Carter and Lee, and suggested I do it for the TV show versions so here you go.
1: Who spends almost all their money on the other?
They both spend money on the other but Carter’s a bit more reckless with his spending and has a tendency to just buy things because Lee wants them. Lee’s a bit more sensible about his spending.
2: Who sleeps in the other’s lap?
Mainly Carter because he has no issue just getting comfortable on Lee, especially when they are curled up on the couch of an evening. Sometimes though it’s Carter pulling Lee down into his lap to make him get some sleep during a tough case. That way he can watch over him and make sure he actually gets the rest he needs instead of leaping back up the moment Carter’s back is turned.
3: Who walks around the house half-naked and who yells at them to put on some clothes?
Neither of them mind if the other walks around half naked but sometimes, if Lee does it before work, Carter has to tell him to get dressed because otherwise they’ll end up being very late ;)
4: Which one tells the other not to stay up all night and which one stays up all night anyway?
Carter has to practically drag Lee away from a case sometimes. Lee is definitely the one staying up all night with case files to try and solve it.
5: Which one tries to make food for the other but burns it all by accident and which one tells them that it’s okay and makes them both cookies?
They can both cook just fine but sometimes Carter decides to be a little more experimental with his cooking and tries making something new and ambitious. That leads to the occasional kitchen disaster and at this point Lee isn’t particularly surprised.
6: Which one reads OTP prompts and says “Oh that’s us!” and which one goes “Eh, not really”?
Carter would be the one saying “Oh that’s us!” and Lee is just like “I’m not being involved in this.”
7: Which one constantly wears the other’s clothes?
Well Carter’s clothes wouldn’t fit on Lee xD But sometimes Carter does wear Lee’s clothes. He knows exactly what the sight of him wearing nothing but one of Lee’s shirts will do to his partner when he gets up in the morning and finds Carter in the kitchen. There’s also an old hoodie that technically belongs to Lee but he doesn’t really wear it that often and Carter has sort of commandeered it. It’s too big and the sleeves are too long but it’s comfy and he likes wearing it when he’s lazing around.
8: Which one spends all day running errands and which one says “You remembered [thing], right?”
Lee spends the day running errands.
9: Which one drives the car and which one gives them directions?
Carter drives the car because it’s his baby and Lee gives directions.
10: Which one does the posing while the other one draws?
I think Carter would enjoy posing. Not sure if Lee would be any good at drawing but maybe he has hidden talents. He has to keep telling Carter off for fidgeting though.
11: If they were about to rob a museum, which one does backflips through lasers and which one is strolling behind with a bag of chips?
Lee is obviously doing the backflips while Carter just strolls in behind.
12: Which one of your OTP overdoes it on the alcohol and which one makes the other stop drinking?
Carter overdoes it and Lee has to hold him upright on the way home and then put him to bed, all the while fending off his flirtations.
13: Which one likes to surprise the other with a lot of small random gifts?
Carter has a tendency to buy lots of small gifts saying “It made me think of you.” Lee can’t help being confused by some of them but he appreciates the gesture. Lee buys fewer but bigger gifts, pressing them into Carter’s hands with a slightly embarrassed “It reminded me of you” and Carter grins at him so brightly that he wants to find more gifts for him.
14: Which one keeps accidentally using the other’s last name instead of their own?
Neither because they are always called by their last names anyway so they wouldn’t accidentally use the other’s.
15: Which one screams about the spider and which one brings the spider outside?
Carter screams about the spider. Lee tells him there’s nothing to be afraid of but Carter harasses him until he eventually sighs and takes the spider outside with a long suffering air.
16: Which one gives the other their jacket?
Lee gives Carter his jacket but only after Carter has whined about the cold for like ten minutes and Lee has told him he should have brought a jacket then. But Carter pouts at him and Lee relents and gives him his own jacket.
17: Who keeps getting threatened by the other’s overprotective older sibling?
Well Kim isn’t the older sibling but she would totally threaten Carter with unspeakable things if he were ever to hurt Lee.
18: Who’s the first one to admit they have feelings for the other?
Carter’s much better at dealing with his feelings so he would probably be the first to admit it, although I can see it both ways.
19: How good would your OTP be at parenting?
They’d be really good parents. Carter is great with kids and enjoys playing almost as much as they do. Lee is very gentle and reassuring with them. Sometimes he has to stop Carter giving in to everything the kid wants though because Carter is the soft touch of the two of them.
20: Which one types with perfect grammar and which one types using numbers as letters?
Lee types with perfect grammar. Carter uses so many numbers and emojis that sometimes Lee doesn’t have a clue what he’s trying to say.
21: Who gets attacked by a bully and who protects them?
Neither really. No one would dare bully Lee! Carter gets teased sometimes by people at the precinct but he mostly gives as good as he gets. If it ever got too much though, Lee would step in protectively.
22: Who makes the bad puns and who makes a pained smile every time the other makes a pun?
Carter makes terrible puns. Lee doesn’t always understand them but when he does he rolls his eyes in exasperation.
23: Who comes home from work to see that the other one bought a puppy?
Neither of them would be able to get away with that seeing as they work together so they would be with each other. But if either of them were to just spontaneously get a puppy, it would be Carter.
24: Which one gives the other a piggyback ride when they’re tired?
Lee gives Carter a piggyback ride. Carter complains sleepily that he’s showing off and that he could totally do that too. But when he tries at a later date, much to Lee’s exasperation, they both end up sprawled on the floor.
25: Which one competes in some sort of activity and which one does the overzealous cheering?
Lee competes and Carter can be found screaming loudly on the sidelines, cheering him on way too enthusiastically and being really embarrassing.
26: Who takes a selfie when the other one falls asleep on their shoulder?
Carter definitely because Lee looks so relaxed and peaceful when he’s sleeping and Carter wants to capture that moment forever.
27: Which one would give the other a makeover if they asked?
Neither! Both have very different styles and would never let the other pick their look.
28: Which one owns a pet that the other is absolutely terrified of?
Neither owns a pet because their jobs don’t really leave them time for it.
29: Which one holds the umbrella over both of them when it rains?
Lee because a) he’s taller so it’s easier and b) he wants to look after Carter because left to his own devices, Carter would just be getting soaked right then.
30: If your OTP went on vacation, where would they go and what would they do? Who would take the pictures?
Carter would want to see the sights and have fun. Lee would be more interested in the culture and going to museums and stuff. Carter teases him for being such a nerd but he follows him around happily because he likes the look on Lee’s face when he’s contentedly wandering around the museums. Carter would take so many pictures, wanting to capture every moment of it and Lee tells him he’ll see the whole vacation through his phone camera but that doesn’t stop him. Lee’s actually secretly pleased to have so many photos of the two of them when they get back.
