The news of Diogo Jota's and Andre Silva's passings are absolutely unreal. I can't believe they're actually gone.

Diogo was 28 years old. Married his girlfriend 10 days ago. Three young children and three dogs left behind. His brother was 25.

A punctured fucking tire taking two innocent, beautiful lives.

This. This is why driving at high speed is so fucking dangerous. Something that would have been a nuisance and a small scare had it not happened where it did, and at the speed it did, ending in the worst possible tragedy.

A void that can never be filled in the lives of his and his brother's families, friends, teammates, staff, and so many football fans out there in the world.

It's so fucking sad, and so fucking unfair, and I can't believe it's actually real. But it is.

Sleep well, Diogo and Andre. The world will never be the same without you. You'll never walk alone. 🕊❤️
