he nodded. “thank you. i know.” he smiled proudly. he looked over at her as he listened. he furrowed a little as he thought. “are ya sayin’ ya wanna be exclusive?” he asked her.

no she blew me off when i finally told her i fancied on. funny enough though once i was in the band she reached back out. then i got to blow her off. was quite proud to do that. they always come back the second they see what ya've got to offer.

Is anybody else just seeing this as one huge sleepover? I’m thinking we should make a fort in the living room, fill it with blankets, grab all the snacks from the kitchen and have a movie night. niall looked up with a mouthful of jaffa cakes. “these?” he questioned with an ‘oops’ face as he chewed. “sorry, lad. helped meself.” he swallowed and gave an innocent smile. “i’m an exception though, yeah?” he laughed. “yeah definitely. just a big sleepover. it’s a lot of fun, innit? i’m definitely in for the fort. sounds fun.”

shaking her head angrily, she couldn’t believe him and her own voice increased in volume. “the fake story that i created in my head? how could it have been fake when i have friends who told me that they have seen you with another while i was busy with my works, huh?” hailee took a step towards him, giving him a tight smile as her emotions started to mix up and she tried her best not to let them overwhelm her. “you know what really fucking sucked, niall? when the person who you trusted the most after being through so much and were willing to give yourself to .. the one you love, lies straight-up to your face.” but she couldn’t stop the tears from building up, taking a deep breath. “you were one of my best friends.. but you just ended being like my other ex, and that’s what hurts the most.” 

“saw me with another doing WHAT?! because i didn’t do anything with anyone while i was with you! so if they ever said i did anything more than hang out then they’re lying! and godforbid i have friends that are girls while dating you, right?!” he shook his head and growled a bit, so fucking aggravated with her. niall slammed his beer down. “i didn’t fucking lie to you!!!” he shouted loudly, not caring who else in the house heard. “you’re making me out to be this horrible fucking person and i’m not! i’m sick of it! i’m gonna fucking stick up for myself because i never fucking cheated on you!” he shook his head. “believe what you fucking want. it doesn’t matter anymore. but keep my name out of your mouth while you continue to lie.” he said hastily and sharply. it hurt so much because he genuinely had loved the girl.

     “a bit, a lot. whatever you want to perceive,” he says, a small nod, eyes looking off a bit in the distant. though, he brings them back once niall speaks again, eyes looking upon the other. “but, did you all want to really see me again? i just tried to avoid, ‘cos i always thought that would be better. obviously now, i’ve grown and come to accept my faults,” but says. “but, i get what you’re sayin’.” he added on. “i’m glad. there’s no need to accept it, yeah? i just wanted to say it and make it known that i mean it.”

niall cracked open another beer and took a long drag from it. he shook his head. “wasn’t that i wanted to see you. i wanted an apology. whatever form that came in.” he clarified. he nodded his head. “it’s good you’ve grown. you were a proper fuckin’ dickhead for a while there, z.” he took another drag from his beer. the irish looked to him and nodded. “glad to hear ya say it and hear ya mean it. thanks.”
