Before I animate a shot, I make lil test renders.

We've got:

Kevin testing Sha.

The gang on the K-9 floor, with the orthographic camera to make everything flat.

Test render of Ashley with the flashlight. This was important, because I don't use lighting. Everything (except the flashlight) just has a dark vertex color, to put it in a sort of pretend-dark, while the light beam has none.

Ashley in the endo room. I was thinking of blocking out parts of the light, but I like this. I like it just cutting through things.

Ashley in the parts room. I didn't want to make Lil Bon renders for the cutouts, so I just used one I had of Lil Sha!

Wakasagihime fumo!!!

She's a Christmas gift for my husband, and entirely custom made. I'm still working on the pattern for her tail, because it's a little too big right now, but I'll post it when it's ready. It's going to be compatible with all fumos, too.

Nef suit pt 2

1-2. The whole core is these two half-heart foam pieces I made.

3. My entrance picture for the cosplay contest. I made my husband model it for me (I always made him model it for me).

4. I associate nef with peacocks! I even made some of the supports out of peacock feathers (ethically sourced, and naturally molted from our pet peacock, Kevin).

6-8. The sides are used as fumo storage. In the end, I used the front section as fumo storage. But I had options!

9. Underview of the foam being glued on to give it the Door look.
