who would've thought sneaking out ONCE would make your parents decide to hire a bodyguard...
you could've understood a long lecture. maybe even getting grounded for a week. but a bodyguard? that was extreme, even for them. sure, your parents are famous actors, but you're not. no one really knows you, you're just their kid.
it was mid-evening and you were chilling in your room when your parents called your name from the living room.
"cominggg!" you yelled, dragging yourself off the bed.
you walked into the living room and froze for a second. there was a tall guy with dirty blonde hair standing there. he glanced at you, then quickly looked away.
"this is going to be your new bodyguard," your mom said, patting his shoulder.
"bodyguard?" you crossed your arms.
"yes. your dad and i decided it's for the best."
"but that doesn—"
your mom cut you off instantly. "don't complain."
"he's joining us for dinner, so be polite."
you had to force yourself from rolling your eyes. "okay," you muttered, trailing after her to the dining room.
the table was loaded with food. the new bodyguard politely pulled out chairs for both you and your mom.
"thank you!" your mom said brightly, then shot you a sharp look that meant say something.
"thank you," you mumbled. he just nodded and sat down.
"so what's your name again, sweetie?" your mom asked while cutting her steak.
"nishimura riki... you can call me niki," he said, bowing his head politely.
"nice to meet you, niki. i'm ___ and this is..." your mom gestured to you.
"i'm ___," you said flatly.
"and my husband is ___ — he's at work right now," your mom added.
"nice to meet you both," niki replied.
your mom clapped her hands. "well, let's eat!"
by the time dinner ended, everyone was full and the room had fallen into a peaceful quiet.
"oh niki, let me show you your room!" your mom said cheerfully.
room? you thought. having a bodyguard was bad enough. now he was living here too? this couldn't get any worse.
you followed them out of straight boredom, walking down the long halls of your massive house mansion until they stopped at a guest room.
"you can stay here," your mom said, gesturing inside. "unless you want another one—we have four more."
niki shook his head. "no, this one's great. thank you." he bowed again.
"of course. make yourself at home," she smiled, closing the door gently.
she turned around and saw you standing right behind her.
"still mad?" she asked.
"yeah."
"trust me, love, it's for the best, okay?" she gave you that sweet mom smile.
you loved her, and you knew she was just trying to keep you safe, so you dropped the attitude. "okay."
later that night, you were about to change into pajamas when your phone buzzed.
hey wanna come to a party with me and some others? i'm outside rn.
you peeked out the window and saw your friend waiting with a car full of people. you sighed and texted back.
alright.
you threw on shoes and a jacket and headed for the front door. you passed your parents room—both of them were already asleep. perfect.
you'd totally forgotten about the bodyguard.
right as your hand touched the doorknob, a tall shadow appeared behind you. you almost screamed, thinking it was an intruder, but he gently covered your mouth.
"do you wanna wake up your parents?" he whispered.
you relaxed once you realized it was just niki. he dropped his hand and crossed his arms.
"where are you going?" he asked, tilting his head.
"out."
"your parents don't want you out this late," he said, pointing at the clock.
"i'm an adult. i can go whenever i want."
"look, i'm just doing my job."
he stepped forward, glanced out the window at your friends, then looked back at you.
"those your friends?"
"yeah?"
"tell them you'll go out in the morning."
"i'm not doing that," you said, reaching for the doorknob again.
"okay, i'll say it then," niki shrugged.
"what?"
"c'mon, let's go." he nodded toward outside.
you stood there frozen for a second, which made him laugh quietly under his breath as he walked out anyway.
"where are you going?!" you whisper-shouted, rushing after him.
he walked straight up to your friend.
"who are you?" your friend asked, then she smiled. "wait, don't tell me she has a boyfriend..."
you finally caught up. "he's not my boyfriend. i don't even know this man."
"i'm her bodyguard," niki said bluntly.
"bodyguard?" your friend laughed.
you tilted your head back and sighed dramatically.
"yeah," niki continued, "and she can go out in the morning."
your friend looked between you two, then threw shrugged her shoulders. "okay." she headed back to the car.
you glared at niki as your friends drove off. "you're even worse than my parents."
he just laughed softly, shoved his hands in his pockets, and started walking back to the house like he hadn't ruined your entire night.
you rolled your eyes and followed.
once you were both inside, niki glanced back at you for a second. "goodnight," he said, continuing down the hall.
"night," you mumbled under your breath.
yeah, he's gonna be a problem, you thought to yourself.
it was morning when you walked down to the living room and saw niki talking to your parents. you instantly turned around to go back to your room, but your dad caught you.
"can we talk to you?" he asked.
you slowly dragged yourself over to the couch and sat down.
"so we figured out that you tried to sneak out again last night," your mom said.
you immediately looked at niki. he gave you a small smile. your parents noticed.
"niki didn't tell us anything," your mom added. "we have cameras, you know."
oh shit. you forgot about those.
"but since you're an adult, we'll let you go out at night."
if you didn't have any self control, you would've run laps around the living room cheering.
"really?" you asked, smiling wide.
"yep," your dad said.
"only under one condition."
"niki has to come with you."
you slumped dramatically on the couch and hid your face in your hands.
your parents glanced at niki. "she gets like this sometimes," your dad explained.
later that night, you were getting ready for a party, actually excited that you could finally go out late with your friends. the only downside was the constant thought of your bodyguard lurking around you.
niki was already waiting outside your room when you opened the door.
"okay, i'm ready."
he gave you a quick once-over. you were wearing a basic sleeveless black dress and boots—the most standard party fit ever.
you noticed him looking. "what, are you the outfit police now?"
"it's gonna be cold out."
"okay?"
"you should bring a jacket."
"i'll be fine, thanks," you said, already walking toward the door.
you got to the front door and started looking for your keys on the holder, but they weren't there.
then you heard keys jangling behind you. niki was holding them.
"your parents want me to drive you."
"what th—"
"your parents orders, not mine," he cut you off, opening the front door.
outside, he held the car door open for you. the drive to the party was quiet and awkward. you kept stealing glances at him. one thing you had to admit—he was good looking. too bad his annoying personality ruins it.
when you finally arrived and stepped out, the cold air hit you instantly. causing you to shiver. of course niki noticed, but he didn't say anything.
inside the party it smelled like alcohol and sweat, and niki grimaced. you looked at him.
"you don't like parties?"
"not really."
you hummed in response. it was weirdly the most peaceful conversation you'd had with him. nice, actually.
your friends spotted you and waved you over. you went to join them while niki stayed back. he tapped his foot for a second, scanned the room, then spotted a quiet lobby area with couches. he decided to lounge there, scrolling on his phone... until he eventually dozed off.
one to two hours—maybe even three? who's counting—passed when niki felt a sudden weight on top of him.
"you asleep?" you slurred, completely draped over him.
niki sat up quickly. "what?" he tried to push you off gently.
"you were asleep," you laughed.
"aren't you... you paused, trying to collect your drunk thoughts. "aren't you supposed to be a bodyguard? i don'ttttt think they sleep on the job."
"you smell like alcohol," niki said, finally sitting you up properly.
"'cause i drank alcohol," you answered like it was a obvious questions (cause it was).
"so you're drunk?"
"take a guess." you slouched back into the soft lounge chair.
niki rubbed his face. "fuck," he muttered under his breath.
"we should go," he said, gently grabbing your hand.
"why?" you asked, but followed him anyway.
"we need to get you home."
you were too tired and drunk to argue.
the second you stepped outside the party, the cold air hit you again. by the time you reached the car you were shivering hard. niki opened the door for you, helped you in, then sighed and took off his jacket.
"take this," he said, handing it over before closing your door and getting in the driver's side.
you slid the jacket on (backwards, but whatever) and that stopped shivering.
when he pulled into your big driveway, he got out and opened your door again.
"need help?" he asked, reaching out his hand.
"nope." you said confidently. the second you stepped out, you nearly ate shit.
niki stifled a laugh, helped you up, and made you grab his shoulders for support.
he walked you all the way to your room and waited until you sat on your bed.
"you should drink some water," he said, grabbing the bottle from your bedside and handing it to you.
you took a few sips.
he started backing toward the door. "alright, night."
"wait!" you called.
"hm?" he turned, eyes soft.
"can you stay in here for a little?"
he froze. "uhm, i don't kno—"
"i won't tell my parents you let me get drunk."
he rested his head against the doorframe for a second, then sighed. "alright."
he walked back in and sat on the floor next to your bed.
"mmm do... do you wanna talk or something?" you mumbled, still drunk.
you looked down from your bed and saw he was already asleep again.
you caught yourself smiling a little, then slouched down on your unmade bed. except you couldn’t sleep. after a few minutes of staring at the ceiling, you glanced back at niki on the floor and made the drunk decision to slide down next to him. you curled up beside him, head resting on his shoulder.
niki’s arm came around you without him waking up. cuddling was for sure NOT a part of the job, but here you both were.

niki stifled a laugh, helped you up, and made you grab his shoulders for support.
he walked you all the way to your room and waited until you sat on your bed.
"uhmmm do... do you wanna talk or something?" you mumbled, still drunk.
you looked down from your bed and saw he was already asleep again.
you caught yourself smiling a little, then slouched down on your unmade bed. except you couldn’t sleep. after a few minutes of staring at the ceiling, you glanced back at niki on the floor and made the drunk decision to slide down next to him. you curled up beside him, head resting on his shoulder.
niki's arm came around you without him waking up. cuddling was for sure NOT a part of the job, but here you both were.

who would've thought sneaking out ONCE would make your parents decide to hire a bodyguard...
you could've understood a long lecture. maybe even getting grounded for a week. but a bodyguard? that was extreme, even for them. sure, your parents are famous actors, but you're not. no one really knows you, you're just their kid.
it was mid-evening and you were chilling in your room when your parents called your name from the living room.
"nope." you said confidently. the second you stepped out, you nearly ate shit.
niki stifled a laugh, helped you up, and made you grab his shoulders for support.

hi everyone! i wanted to come on here to talk about a current situation surrounding jungwon wearing a very disrespectful shirt towards the kazakh race. which was shown in the recent bloody paradise dance tiktok.
i’m not very educated on this whole topic but from what i know is that borat, (the movie the character is from) was made to disrespect kazakhstan and and make fun of them. from my understanding this made a lot of kazakh engenes upset, which i would get if it was my own culture as well.
the best we can do is educate ourselves on this before being quick to hate on jungwon for it, as well as holding him accountable until we get an apology. i’ll put the pictures and more explanation down here. please boost this as much as you can!
disappointed ngl... i understand that he probably didn't know, but still i feel like everyone (especially idols cause i mean c'mon) should be careful with what they wear, i hope he apologizes if not thennnnnn idk man. what really pisses me off aswell is some of the engenes just straight up supporting that kind of behavior. yeah he probably didn't know what the shirt means, and? i literally saw someone say he doesn't have to apologize like wtf. some ppl baby tf out of idols it genuinely pisses me off, baby thats a grown man he can apologize for his mistakes...

"mmm do... do you wanna talk or something?" you mumbled, still drunk.
you looked down from your bed and saw he was already asleep again.
you caught yourself smiling a little, then slouched down on your unmade bed. except you couldn’t sleep. after a few minutes of staring at the ceiling, you glanced back at niki on the floor and made the drunk decision to slide down next to him. you curled up beside him, head resting on his shoulder.
niki’s arm came around you without him waking up. cuddling was for sure NOT a part of the job, but here you both were.

who would've thought sneaking out ONCE would make your parents decide to hire a bodyguard...
you could've understood a long lecture. maybe even getting grounded for a week. but a bodyguard? that was extreme, even for them. sure, your parents are famous actors, but you're not. no one really knows you, you're just their kid.
it was mid-evening and you were chilling in your room when your parents called your name from the living room.
"i'll be fine, thanks," you said, already walking toward the door.
you got to the front door and started looking for your keys on the holder, but they weren't there.

you slowly dragged yourself over to the couch and sat down.
"mmm do... do you wanna talk or something?" you mumbled, still drunk.
you looked down from your bed and saw he was already asleep again.
you caught yourself smiling a little, then slouched down on your unmade bed. except you couldn’t sleep. after a few minutes of staring at the ceiling, you glanced back at niki on the floor and made the drunk decision to slide down next to him. you curled up beside him, head resting on his shoulder.
niki’s arm came around you without him waking up. cuddling was for sure NOT a part of the job, but here you both were.

who would've thought sneaking out ONCE would make your parents decide to hire a bodyguard...
you could've understood a long lecture. maybe even getting grounded for a week. but a bodyguard? that was extreme, even for them. sure, your parents are famous actors, but you're not. no one really knows you, you're just their kid.
it was mid-evening and you were chilling in your room when your parents called your name from the living room.
