(kinda sorta) SEMI-HIATUS!
Alright, so I had a feeling I’d be making this post. Before I go into it, I just want to preface everything with this: I WILL STILL BE HERE AND SOMEWHAT ACTIVE. However, my activity will be limited. I also may be on IMs or Discord less, so I ask for your patience.
Anyway, into the reason I’m making this.
As most of you know, because I have mentioned it quite a few times, I am taking the LSAT for the first time tomorrow, on July 15th. I have already registered for my second LSAT, which is on September 23rd. That is the LSAT that is really the most important, even though they both are. However, I have not experienced a true LSAT testing environment (I have, however, taken a prep course) and the July 15th LSAT is kind of like an official diagnostic and my starting point for the 10-week crunch that lies ahead of me.
I’ve found a pretty strict study plan that requires 2-3 hours of studying per day, which – though draining – will hopefully raise my score significantly. I’m going into my first LSAT with a goal of at least a 150, but I know I can do way better than that with the proper prep, so on September 23rd, I will be aiming for, well, Elle Woods.
I’m going to try to be here as much as I can, but I often can find myself being very distracted on Tumblr, and minutes turn into hours and suddenly I have lost a whole day to scrolling and shit-posting. Because I’m a mess, we know this.
There is an upside to this hiatus, though, because when I do come on here, I will be very drafts-oriented, as I will surely need a creative outlet after studying for so hard and so long on top of my job (and eventually my senior year of college).
You will definitely see me as the most active here, though I am going to keep up with @ironaed to the best of my ability as well.
I thank you again for your love and support. Quentin is hands down my favorite blog I have ever had on here (and I’ve had many). I am not abandoning him or you guys. I’ll just be a little quieter than usual. This has already kinda started to happen, because I’ve been studying more often recently anyway. I apologize to the people who have been waiting to hear back from me. I’m stressed, frazzled, and trying my best.
Roleplaying means the world to me, and I am not going anywhere anytime soon. That’s a promise. I love you all so much!
TL;DR - I have 10 weeks until my next LSAT (September 23rd) and a strict and intensive study regimen to follow until I get there. Expect less frequent / heavy activity from me IC and OOC until that’s over.
