Levy's Special Training: Day 2

[/She blinked and sighed. She had at least hoped for more detail] I see… [/She was nervous, but she trusted Gajeel. She knew he wouldn’t put her in danger. She finished the sandwich and drank down all the water. She took a breath and smiled.] 

It was a very nice sandwich. Thank you. [/She got up and stretched. As Gajeel continued to eat his food, she walked around, stretching her muscles a bit. She didn’t want them to be sore when they began the walk home later on.]

[Gajeel finished eating up the last chunks of metal on his boxed lunch and then stood up and stretched a bit on top of the rock.]

Well then, that spell is about to run up so you'd better return to your position. We're gonna keep at it until you reach your limit, otherwise you won't increase your output if you don't tire yourself out.

[It was basically like lifting weights or even making a rubberband loose. Unless you kept stretching the band or your forcing your muscles constantly, it wouldn't expand.]

Levy's Special Training: Day 2

[/Levy puffed out her cheeks in anger as he teased her, once again, about her height.] Im not going to grow any taller, Gajeel. SO you can stop teasing me about it.

[/She looked at him as she continued to eat the sandwich he had made] So, what is the next step? If you don’t mind me asking, that is.

Well, if you say you won't grow taller at all, then you won't. You can't win if you already lost in your mind before even trying. [He said with a somewhat amused tone. He believed that if you admited defeat, then you were really defeated but things didn't end until that.]

As for the next part of the training, once you're able to use more magic at once, we'll move on to practical magic usage. Your magic style is not suited for combat but after seeing the guys from Grimoire heart, I thought that we might be able to come up with something similar. You won't be able to fight like that sword guy but you will at least have a better chance at fighting.

[He explained without going into details to leave the next part of the training still a bit of a mistery.]

Laxus and Natsu will fight soon. If Lily is frightened by thunder, he will be scared to death. There will be so much thunder and lightning. Laxus trying to hit Natsu, Natsu eating and regurgitating lightning, thunder that shakes the whole city.

I’ll fight Lily any time within thirty days of this match.

The same way as last time. It’ll end with you sitting in the ruins of a giant magic robot eating floor tiles, Natsu happy buy unable to move, and there will be mass destruction.

Gajeel, you should just admit defeat. :D

Levy's Special Training: Day 2

[/Levy looked absolutely relaxed as the warm air surrounded them. She smiled and took her lunch. She grinned and began to eat right away]

Oh wow, Gajeel! This food…It tastes absolutely delicious! I had no idea you were such a good cook!

[/She continues to eat happily] So, are we moving onto anything else today?

[He didn't think he was that good but if she enjoyed the food, then he wasn't going to say otherwise, his ego speaking for himself.]

Well I guess it should be expected of myself. [He smiled as he continued eating and he finished rather fast.]

Don't be hasty shorty! If you overwork yourself you won't even grow a centimeter more! [He said jokingly]

[She had already spent a lot of her energy before lunch so she wouldn't even last too long after it.]

Remember that we're first training you to increase your reserves and that's gonna take some time. If you keep this pace up, perhaps the next week we'll be ready to go onto the next stage.

[/Levy approaches him and smiles at him] I know Im a few days late in saying this, but Happy New Year, Gajeel. [/She giggles] Did you know that 2012 is the year of the dragon?

[Notices Levy as she was next to him.] Oh, don't worry I was on a mission either way but yeah, Happy New Year as well shorty! [He patted her on the head once and then nodded.] Yeah, I knew but I ain't like Salamander so I don't think of it as a good sign or anything special.

[/Levy remained doing well. She did not warm herself too much, so her magic energy would go down at a slower rate. By about lunchtime, she stopped completely. She was quite tired and it didn’t help that she was also pretty hungry.]

G…Gajeel? You wouldn’t happen to have any food, would you? [/She placed her hand over her stomach as it grumbled.]

[A couple of hours had passed and when Levy finally seemed to be low on magical energy, Gajeel smirked.]

You did well to last that long for your second try. So let's take a break. [Gajeel stood up from the rock and opened up the bag he was carrying around. He took out a couple of things, one was a small Lacrima that he dropped in between them and as soon as it touched the ground it broke apart and it released a small red orb and the air around them became completely warm. It looked almost as if a barrier had formed around the two of them since even the stormy air from the mountain became a small breeze inside that area.]

That spell will last for about half an hour so let's make use of it.

[Gajeel took out some lunch boxes and handed one to Levy. He opened up his own and it was full of food coated with iron dust and other metal scraps, a weird sight for most people. Levy's boxed however, contained a pretty normal lunch he had prepared in the morning and he chose food that wasn't required to be eaten hot to taste good. Even if Gajeel didn't look like it, he enjoyed cooking from time to time and he wasn't really an amazing cook but he knew that his food was at least fairly good. He started eating on his own with his eyes closed.]

Hey, Gajeel. /hide in a box/ Happy new year, and a good year of the dragon for you.

[He chuchled and as she hid in a box, he crouched a bit and patted strongly at the box.]

No need to hide little girl. I won't do anything to you unless you talk about my great musical skills that is.

But Happy new year as well! Gyhi~ [He says as he stands back up and leaves.]

Gajeel. [/greets Gajeel in the bubbliest way she could make up but it still came out like she's hissing at him] I don't know where to start. It's saddening that our first meeting was.. harsh and I dislike your Bunny Girl antics on me but I'm glad that we've been on good terms lately. [/smiles a real smile] Thank you so much for saving my life and all. I'm glad you joined Fairy Tail and you get to open up with most of the people. Have a happy new year, Gajeel! I wish the best! :D

[Gajeel knew full-well about his past and he had some regret although he never let it show and he tried to mend his actions back then on his own way.] Don't sweat it. Wheter you like it or not, we're now on the same guild and I have certain obligations to fullfil to my fellow guildsmen, that is all.

[And with a low grump he turned around and waved his right hand back at her as if saying it didin't matter but he smiled while being like that since she wouldn't see it directly and whispered:] Happy new year to you as well...

[/She nodded and once her breathing was under control, she began to try and warm her body again. The color in her cheeks began to return as she concentrated. She kept her breathing steady the whole time]

Good, you're doing it ok. Now keep it up for as long as you can!

[Gajeel nodded at her successful attempt but still he watched her closely. He knew that if she forced herself too much, it might end up just like the day before so he was trying to pay attention to those little details so she could do that. This breathing technique was obviously not good if you attempted to do it while walking since it would drain you quite a lot but if they were calm like that, it would be ok.]
