Just starting this rp blog for fun to fill out my Iron Lung hyperfixation needs.

Some boundaries are:

No Nsfw (Specifically sexual) or Parasocial asks please. Still a person and a minor.

Gore is fine, this is Iron Lung after all.

Shipping with other blogs is fine, just be aware that the mod behind here is a minor. ASK BOTH OTHER PERSON RUNNING BLOG AND ME BEFORE SHIPPING TOO, WITHOUT CONSENT IT IS JUST UNCOMFORTABLE.

Don't vent to me as I am not qualified to help with someone's mental health struggles nor have the mental capacity to deal with that currently.

Fair warning, if I don't respond to an ask it's probably just because I don't know what to respond with :)

Finally, roleplay is very much encouraged but if you don't want to, that's perfectly fine! I have been on hiatus but have returned! Asks will be answered eventually, just been busy.

AU is just between when Jack appeared and the end of the movie. Jack is just in the med area of the station with an old computer (that may have cross-dimensional communication oOooOo).

[Jack blinked one eye at a time as he stared at the jellybean-like creature. He had a blank look on his face for a moment before his head flopped forward onto the keyboard...a few times.]

[Jack grumbled, it was a rhetorical question, really. He finally lifted his head up from the keyboard properly to glare at the creature.]

"Who the fuck are you??"

[His voice reached a slightly higher pitch as he pointed one of his radiation burned & bloody fingers at them.]

uh- eh… my name’s Coral..? [their voice came out more like a bewildered squeak. What the fuck what the fuck what the fuck this thing with its hands connected to its body with tubes was speaking the same language as them what the hell-]

[this creature was easily twice, their height, and… covered in quite a concerning amount of a blood-like substance. Hopefully that was something it secreted as a deterrent and not its last meal or something…]

[Jack coughed, covering his mouth with one of his hands. He..wasn't looking good. Covered in radiation burns that looked like they were in the early stages of infection, his lips and nailbeds a bluish tint, his body frail and sickly. Overall, this guy looked like he would die if you gave him a good kick.]

"What're you..?"

[Jack asked, still mostly convinced that he was hallucinating Coral. Radiation poisoning did some crazy shit, right? Maybe this was weird near death experience. His brain's final shot at life before it finally kicked the bucket.]

[Jack said with a shrug. At this point it's become part of casual conversation for him "oh hey, my name's Jack and I have mega cancer". He's either known to people as that guy that got blasted in the face with a shit ton of radiation or just the C.O.I's welder. No in between.]

"So..yeah, hooked me up to painkillers and just waitin for me to finally croak. End of the line, pppffggt, bucket gettin ready to be kicked."

[That would explain why he sounded a little..loopy. He's very sick and on a ton of painkillers to make it less painful while the sicknesses he has ravage his body. Of course he's going to act a little strange.]

[Jack's long accepted that he's dying. Really, he's just waiting for it to happen at this point. But death is taking it's sweet time with him for some reason. At least, it felt that way. He doesn't know how long he's been in this med bay.]

"Unless ya got a miracle cure for severe radiation poisonin, not really. I got about 7'000 milisieverts riiight to the fuckin face. Honestly, I should be dead by now."

[He said, pointing at one of the burns, specifically the one on his face which was one of the more severe ones. It definitely didn't look like something people can come back from.]

"All the fuckin stars and planets disappeared, only a few moons that have blood oceans on em are still here..or did they appear after? I don't remember the specifics. So, we're sendin subs down there to see why. Personally, I don't think we're gonna find anything that could save humanity or some shit. But the C.O.I's pretty determined to find it."

[From the way Jack spoke, it sounds like he's already given up hope for humanity. It's hard to have hope in such a hopeless situation anyway.]
