“HONEY, I’M HOME”
1st person = married to for three days
"I - What?” the Master demanded, his eyes going wide as he looked at his - husband? “We’re married? How much did I drink last night?”
"That is my answer old friend." He respond simply. "And that is still my answer."
"You’re disappointed in yourself for accidentally ending up married to me? Well.. I guess I can understand that."
"I am disappointed in myself, for being selfish. I a disappointed in myself for not thinking about what you want."
The Master blinked in surprise. "You think I don't want this?" he asked, not quite sure if that was what he was saying.

"I’m serious."
"Oh, believe me, I know. Spoilsport." He stuck his tongue out at him.
The Doctor simply ignores is as he walks past.
"I'll just sit here then," he called after him, sitting down in the jump seat. "Let me guess, you don't want me to move a muscle, even to breathe?"
*Jumps on you* My bonny (amysimaginaryraggedyman)
He smirked, wrapping his arms around the Doctor. “Miss me?”
"I drove myself mad in more ways than one, and it can still get worse." Or can it. "And that was when you were not there." He looks away and down to earth. "But is that what a good man is, Master?…Or am I only a little better, doing good things to look good and feel good about myself and not being, like him." He looks down at him. "But it’s more of what he did, I choose to destroy Gallifrey, and more…I should, make up for that. I hurt so many people, children, innocent lives."
The Master twisted around on the floor, pushing himself around to face the Doctor and lean his back around the door frame. He let one leg slide out of the door, dangling in space. “Doctor, take it from someone who has done far worse than you for no other reason but it’s fun - the things you did aren’t really that bad. Sure, you destroyed Gallifrey, but you did what you had to do - you didn’t do it for the same reasons I would have.”
The Doctor doesn’t move, he just sits there and watches the outside. “And what would that be Master? What reasons would that be? That made it okay to kill the innocent with the guilty?” Because he wanted to know. He needed to know. All the guilt on his shoulders, he could never find the wait to make it lighter.
The Master frowned slightly. Oh, he was the wrong person to be doing this, but someone had to, and it looked like he had no other choice. "The war was going to destroy the entire universe. I ran to the very end of the universe in the slim hope of escaping it. There's no way to save everyone, but you saved as many as you could."
The Doctor misses his First and True Master.
He perked up slightly, a smile starting to form on his lips. “I love a good party.”
"Do you have one you like to do?"
"Let's do a Christmas party - lots of festivity."
“Please stay.”
Put a phrase in my muse’s askbox and I’ll write a starter for both of our muses that incorporates the phrase you chose
The Master sat on the bed and turned his dark eyes on the Doctor as he prepared to walk out the door, off to do who knew what. The Master didn’t even really care what he was setting of to do, he just knew that he wanted the Doctor to be here with him. It would be so easy to make him stay - command him, hit him, drag him down. And it was all tempting. But he knew that he had been hard on him lately, and maybe if he was a bit softer on him, he’d be more cooperative. “Please stay,” he spoke in a low voice.
Stun what was going on, how the man seem to respond around him and how this man’s mood and attitude changes in matter of responses and news. Now he watches carefully, maybe the stranger wasn’t what he first thought. “I-I don’t remember. It’s been so many years, I….It’s been at least thirty or so.” Right? He can see fear in those eyes, and no hope. The kiss surprises him, but he doesn’t move away. Slowly and carefully he brings a arm around him for a comforting hug he would give to kids in need. “I’m…sorry.”
He took a deep breath, attempting to blink some of the tears out of his eyes as he clung to the Doctor’s shirt. “This can’t be happening…. You’ve never given up on anything before, you’ve always been irritatingly resilient. So why now? Why when I need you do you have to go do this?” He shook his head, a couple of tears slipping down his cheek.
Hearing these words, it was like he did the worse thing he ever done, and yet not remember. His old body slumps at the new weight on his shoulders. “I don’t know…I don’t know what your talking about, all I remember is the last thirty years or so…I’m sorry.”He couldn’t look at him, he just looks away, as in he was in so much pain, and not knowing why. “Do you want some tea, sir? Or something to eat? To cheer you up?”
He knew that he was just trying to help, but the only way that he could feel any better was to get the Doctor back. And if he didn't know where the key was, what could they do? A sudden thought struck him and he pulled back to look the Doctor in the face. "What's the first thing you remember?" he demanded urgently.
✢
"M-M—Koschei?" He was stunned when he saw the other time lord standing outside of his TARDIS. That shouldn’t be possible. "What are you doing here? How did you? Come in. It’s raining. Are you wanting to get a cold?" He stepped aside to let his old friend and enemy get in.
The Master hesitated just a second before walking over and taking the seat that the Doctor had indicated for him. “Yeah,” he muttered, not quite looking at his old friend. Of course, he had been looking for the Doctor for what felt like forever, and when he finally found him, he was even more out of his mind than usual. This was just embarrassing.
The Doctor didn’t really expect all of this hesitancy from the Master, it wasn’t like he was going to do anything to him. Besides, he figured that it was him who should be wary of the other. “Good. I’m glad. To be honest, you looked quite dreadful.” He did look a bit more perked up now. “If it’s okay for me to ask, how did you get here? I mean, like back here, I didn’t think that I’d ever see you again.”
The Master sighed, not surprised by the question - he had known it would be coming eventually. "I'm not entirely sure, myself," he admitted. "There was a crack and I came through it - ended up, I don't even know where. I found a faulty vortex manipulator and tried to get to your TARDIS, but I ended up on Earth instead only for it to stop working completely. Just my luck, right? Stuck on this miserable planet."
Kat sees a hansom looking blonde man on the sidewalk looking thoughtful. With a smile she skips over to him, "Why are you looking at the cars like they are toys?" Kat asks as she adjusts her over sized grey sweater and chews on her peppermint with a curiosity. She looks up at you with her bright purple eyes "Geez you're tall.."
The Master looked down at the girl, an eyebrow arched in confusion as to why she had chosen to approach him. Why did humans always think that he seemed like a good choice of someone to irritate? But he was bored, maybe he could have some fun with her. He turned to face her fully. “Aren’t you perceptive?” he commented. “I find cars to be pathetic - pretty boring toys.”
"Either way, watching cars are boring. And if you’re thinking about trouble without me, you are sadly mistaken." Kat says and her eyes turn a bright green. "It’s quiet clear that you have a plan for someon, but I am not rude enough to search far into your mind." Kat smiles
The Master couldn’t help but chuckle. “Search far into my mind, and you may not like what you find. Prolonged exposure to insanity may make you insane.” He turned away from her, looking back out to the street with a smile. “And my plan is my business - I doubt you’d understand.”
"The drum. I can see how it’s annoying, and maddening." She looks at an upcoming car with a smile. "And I understand a lot."
His head snapped back to look at her again, anger in his eyes. "That was not an invitation," he growled. "Now get out of my head." He reached his hand into his pocket, closing his fist around his laser screwdriver, though he didn't pull it out yet.
Curiousity killed the Cat ((Closed))
The Master watched Aethena carefully as she thought his words over. He wasn’t sure what arguments she could make against his reasoning, but it wouldn’t be the first time somebody surprised him. The corner of his lips quirked up at her words, though. It wasn’t an agreement, but it might as well be. She saw his point, and that was most of the job done.
She did bring up a good question; he couldn’t exactly go about his normal hobbies when he was trying to get her to take his side against her Time Lady. After all, he wasn’t the Doctor, and he didn’t just travel around for the hell of it. “Right now, I’m just glad to be off Earth. We can figure out where to go as the need arises.”
He was odd to say the least. Going against the idea to see her own pilot was a big step for her, yet where would she go? Direction was always something she felt was important for her and without the slightest idea it left very little for her to go off of. Usually her stays managed to have a location they wanted to go to, but this time? Perhaps he had an idea but just was not willing to share it just yet. That was alright. She could always wait for that.
With one final glance to the doors, she walked over to her console. Her eyes glanced over the controls as her brows furrowed in thought. “You know, for a Time Lord, I would have believed that you had an idea of somewhere to travel to. However I suppose that is never always the case. I do have a wide variety of places and times to choose from. Seeing as we do not have an exact location while we wait, would you care if I set a random generator and head off to wherever it is we end up?”
He smiled broadly as she turned away from the doors. Sometimes there really was no telling how people would respond, and Aethena seemed so loyal to her pilot that he honestly hadn't been sure what the outcome would be. Then again, he always was so good at getting what he wanted, so he really wasn't all that surprised when it turned out in his favor.
"Well, Gallifrey is gone - or whatever it is you say it is - and regardless, I'm not exactly welcome there. So I can't go home, I'm sick of Earth..." he shrugged. "I think I just need to do some traveling to get rid of the feeling of being stuck in one place. Go right ahead." He had never really been one to use the random generator on his own TARDIS, but now seemed like a good time for it.
"So what doe that make you? Seeing as you’re copying him." She smirked.
"People dress like idiots on Halloween all the time! And besides, I was talking about his appearance, which is why I pull this...
Halloween Open
"You're right it is ridiculous. That's why I'm just going to be in a citadel dress instead of my normal attire. Just wear something I normally wear at home. Simple."
The Master scrunched up his nose in distaste. "Why would you want to wear citadel dress? Even this horrid outfit is better than that."
[kisses lips] You’ve got the kissing disease!! spread it by kissing the next ten people on your dash.
The Doctor kissed the Master back, but he was blushing. “M..Master.” he hadn’t expected the other time lord to kiss him. Though he had to admit that he was enjoying it.
The Doctor was looking at her. He grinned. “Oh is that so?” He seemed rather amused. The time lord looked at the Master wondering what it was. He wanted to know what it was that the Master was thinking.
"Oh, yes," the Master said smugly, continuing to move closer to him. "You’re right about one thing, Doctor - I’m always after something. And this time… it’s you." He stopped a couple of inches in front of him, holding eye-contact.
The Doctor was looking at him. “Well I am ok with that.” He grinned. he wanted to just be with the other, he knew that the Master was everything to him. He would be rather alone without him.
The corners of his lips quirked up into a small smile at the Doctor's response. "Good." He reached out and placed his hands on the Doctor's hips, pulling him closer. He held eye-contact with him for a moment longer, a small smile on his lips, before he ducked his head and pressed his lips to the Doctor's neck.
Open- Rose is gone (Open to Cannons- )
The Doctor was looking at him. ”I lie alot.” he told him. Though he normally thought he was lieing for good reason. “Though about my flying test, that is not telling them, they didn’t even know I was supposed to have taken a test.” He flicked the TARDIS controls.
"Well, I never specifically told anyone that I wasn’t going to kill anyone when I became Prime Minister, but you still seem to count that as a lie," he said with a shrug. He wasn’t trying to start anything, he was just defending his point. "So, where are we going, anyway? Or rather, where are you trying to get us? I can help, you know." He had always been better than the Doctor at flying, but somehow he doubted that he would let him touch the controls.
The Doctor was looking at him. “I suppose” he was a bit startled by the fact the Master wanted to help. He smiled. “Well you could.” he replied. “But she might be rather pissed off at you.” He was hoping that everything would be ok. He watched the Master and hoped that things would work out. He just was glad for the Master’s company. irrationalmaddness (accidently deleted my account, so had to remake everything.)
The Master turned to face the controls, but hesitated for a split second. The Doctor did have a point - he was sure that the TARDIS wasn't particularly pleased with him for making her into a paradox machine, and if there was ever a ship that could hold a grudge, it would be this one. He slowly lowered his hand to a lever, relieved when she let him pull it without electrocuting him or anything of the sort. "It would help to know where we're going," he pointed out, glancing back up at the Doctor.
Not the Last
the-twohearted-dalek
The Master was in a surprisingly good mood today, considering that he was no closer to finding his way off this wretched planet. But he had found (and stolen) a new leather jacket that he thought looked quite good on him, so he was in a good mood for the moment.
His grin slipped slightly as his eyes landed on a woman turning the corner. Just looking at her, he got a very distinct feeling - one that he shouldn't be having, considering he and the Doctor were the last Time Lords. Or were they?
"Excuse me," he called, rushing up to her.
"No! You can't be!" He looked from the man to the TARDIS and back again and laughed. "Doctor?"
"Very true, I can’t be, because i;m not a Doctor." He said calmly, not giving any sort of the reaction. How was he here? The Master should have been long dead, just another person he couldn’t save. Of course the Tardis was a dead giveaway, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to try. "I was just admiring this box. What sort of Doctor are you looking for?"
The Master rolled his eyes as he caught the Doctor’s mutterings. “Things have changed,” he muttered even quieter, his expression darkening momentarily before he forced it away. No, there was too much potential for messing with the Doctor right now, and he was not going to let that go to waste. He walked into the wardrobe as the Doctor opened the door, before spinning back to face him at the other Time Lord words. “So you do want to watch?” he accused, his eyes gleaming mischievously. “Well… I suppose I don’t need this towel, anyway.” As soon as he finished speaking, he unwrapped the towel from around his waist, tossing it to the Doctor.
“No I don’t I just-” His words were cut off with an ‘oomph!’, the damp towel smacking him in the face, his cheeks reddening instantly as it plopped to the floor and his eyes caught sight of the Master. In the nude. It was almost automatic, the way his hand flew to cover his eyes, but he couldn’t very well keep them closed. Not if there was a chance for him to do something diabolical when he wasn’t looking. “Just- pick something!” The Doctor was near squeaking the words, peeking out from behind his fingers to look at his face. “Please. Get. Dressed.”
The Master crossed his arms after the towel left his hand, smirking in a satisfied manner as he watched the Doctor's reaction. He was so easily embarrassed - it was hilarious. "Come on, Doctor, it's not like you haven't seen me naked before - not this body, but still." He turned and began looking through the racks of clothes, taking his time as he tried to find a suitable outfit.

Unsure of what to say, the Master opened his mouth then closed it again as the Doctor made his way out of the room. Why was he doing all of this for him? he wondered. It wasn’t as if he had treated the Doctor in a way that had earned him kindness - surely he had screwed up any chances of that long ago. And as good of a person as he knew the Doctor to be, he couldn’t help but be suspicious of his motives, it was a habit that was hard to break. He finished his soup and the tea, feeling much better afterwards, then decided to go ahead and head to the library. There was no point in him staying in the room alone, anyway. He allowed the TARDIS to guide him to the room, walking inside without a word.
The Doctor suspected that the Master might be suspicious of him, but there was nothing for him to be suspicious of. He was helping an old friend that needed him, even if he wouldn’t admit it. He heard the footsteps and glanced up from what he’d been reading. “Hello. Feeling any better?” He hoped that the soup and tea had warmed him up, if he was lucky, he’d escape getting sick. The Doctor marked the spot in his book, closed it and set it aside before he patted the spot next to him for the other to join him.
The Master hesitated just a second before walking over and taking the seat that the Doctor had indicated for him. "Yeah," he muttered, not quite looking at his old friend. "So what doe that make you? Seeing as you’re copying him." She smirked.
"People dress like idiots on Halloween all the time! And besides, I was talking about his appearance, which is why I pull this off far better than him."
"Actually you look like you’ve gone blind. The colors are all wrong for you. You’re all blonde and stuff. Wrong coloring."
"Well, I am not dying my hair for the sake of a Halloween costume! That's just ridiculous."
"Don’t do this, please."
"Give me a reason not to."
"Kill thousands so you can bathe in their blood like some kind of deranged person from Earth’s 1500’s? That seems to be very you. Maybe you’d like me to capture you a monkey that can kill for you instead?” Sally may have lost her freedom but she wasn’t about to bow down. He could own her all he wanted but there was some things no one could own.
His eyes narrowed into a glare. “You are not funny, so how about you leave the jokes up to me? Because I can think of quite a few funny things, but currently they’re involving you, and I would just hate to ruin the surprise.” Like sending her through a door that led straight into an acid pit - that would be funny.
"You own me. You own what is left of my family. You own us all. You have a little army of Sparrows. What is it you want with us, huh? My mother is practically useless as far as war-fare goes. She can be conniving and oh-so convincing, but that’s about it. I can shoot a gun, have admirable survival skills, and know The Doctor. It’s not a big list of skills between the two of us. What do you want?"
"What do I want?" he repeated the question, shaking his head slightly. "What do I want? I just want to own you. You're right, you are absolutely worthless to me at the moment, but some people just like owning things so that they can say the do. So until the Doctor shows up and I can use you as leverage, you are just my little pets."
