Introduction:
I'm Iris (or Alex) from Poland and I go by she/her and they/them. I'm queer, neurodivergent.
I claim myself as an artist, I do writing, sometimes drawing. I also have a lot of small hobbies. And I HATE AI.
I just LOVE playing games (even though I suck at them) and watching gameplays on YouTube. The list of my favourite ones is too long, so I'll pick only a few: Resident Evil; Detroit: Become human; Red Dead Redemption, Henry Stickmin, Little Misfortune, Beholder and Life is Strange. As I said, the list so looong, but those have special place in my heart.
I'm a bookworm. I read mainly young adult literature, fantasy and thrillers/crime stories/horror/etc. Something I also take classical literature. I only rather don't touch SMUTs and nonfiction.
As for SMUTs, well, I'm not a big fan of NSFW. Soft, cosy erotic scenes that are not graphic but suggestive enough? I'll take it. Straight porn? Sorry, but no. I won't judge you and put pressure on you in this area so I expect you to do the same to me.
My favourite animal is cow.
I just LOVE plushies!
My special interests are Resident Evil, greek mythology - those are the strongest. The weaker ones are herbs, nature.
I adore animated shows and movies. These are one of my favourites: The Mighty Nein, Avatar, Arcane, Hazbin Hotel, The Owl House. Sometimes I also watch anime and my favourites are Banana Fish, Noragami, Tengoku Daimakyo, Fullmetal Alchemist and few other.
I'm a big fan of musicals and my top 1 is definitely The Greatest Showman.
I mostly listen to rock, metal and just this kind of stuff. Whatever stuck in my ears actually, but I love harder sounds.
My favourite painter ever is Beksiński.

I finished watching gameplay of Resident Evil: Requiem and I want to say that it's literally the best and most beautiful game I've ever seen (and I've seen quite a few), and I'm being completely honest.
It combines everything that's great about Resident Evil: thrilling action, an interesting and engaging story, wonderful characters you can identify with, and, last but not least, interesting and diverse enemies and intriguing villains. It's also worth mentioning the beautiful, diverse, and complex locations and gameplay elements like crafting and inventory management. It's literally like a big, sweet kiss or a love letter to the fans.
I cried several times during this game. Many times I also had to just stand up and let out emotions that were too much and too strong for me to process. Because, truly, there was a lot of emotion. A lot of excitement, sadness, stress, and anger. And even more, just pure delight and excitement. I can't even fully express how enchanted I am by this game.
I love Leon's character in this game, because it feel so much like him, the real Leon. Sarcastic, cracking silly jokes at even the most inappropriate moments; eager to save anyone he can and destroy all evil. But I also really liked Grace. I think she's a truly unique character, very human. I liked how terrified and perhaps even unhinged she was, because it's quite fresh and a great twist on the main character, a departure from the strong, courageous characters we have so many of. But she's also a dynamic character who changes and learns to control her fear and fight back over time. I liked that despite her terror, she was able to pull herself together and move forward to protect someone important to her. Besides that, she's simply charming and sweet, very likeable. And I loved Grace's and Leon's relationship. They were kind of like daughter and a father. I bet he saw younger himself in her. And I love how he was soft and protective over her, and how she cared about him too. As for Victor Gideon, he was an intriguing character, though I was a bit disappointed by his storyline. Nevertheless, it was great and certainly memorable.
I can definitely recommend this title to anyone who enjoys horror, action games, moving, engaging stories, and fights with interesting enemies and bosses.
Finally, I want to say that I'm simply incredibly happy to live in a time when Capcom exists and creates such masterpieces. I love the Resident Evil series more than anything in the world, and it's my biggest and most intense passion, and the one that lasts the longest. I don't think I've ever loved anything so much and for so long. This is an aspect of my life that I love with all my heart, and it's unique and incredibly important to me. Someone might think I'm stupid and strange (I can't count the number of times I've encountered such reactions to my comments about games, even from those closest to me, who either ignored me or didn't take me seriously at all), but it's the truth. I'm truly glad I discovered these games eight years ago. They make me feel so happy, so hopeful, and so content. Complete. Sometimes I think that without Resident Evil, my life would be much sadder, grayer, and just plain boring.
And now let's say it together, out loud: thank you, Capcom.
Ponies will be my forever favourite thing to draw. Here's a little drawing for @pickyourgutsoffthefloor. She chose lavender purple, sky blue, white and tree, so I turned that into this
Bands that Leon Kennedy would be listening to in my opinion
According to song that he listened to at the beginning of Resident Evil 2 remake, he would definitely love rock of all kind and maybe a soft metal too.
So here's my ideas:
Queen
Three Days Grace
Bon Jovi
Metallica
Nirvana
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Guns N' Roses
Creator note: This is a spoiler free place. I won't ruin your fun, don't worry!
Quick lesson that I learned painfully: DO NOT SEARCH ANYTHING ON RESIDENT EVIL. [No spoilers in the post, I'm not ruining the fun]
I just saw a thumbnail of a video spoilering the ending of RE9. I didn't click on it, but the thumbnail and title are self-explanatory enough. And I just wanted to see the DLC for RE7 😭
I think I just need to delete myself from any social media existing, because there's no other way to avoid spoilers...
Thank you for ruining part of the fun.
But seriously, can't you just MARK SPOILERS? So people who don't want to see them could avoid them? Is it that hard or you just enjoy ruining fun for other people??
At this point I also want to point out that my blog is a completely spoiler-free place.
If I want to say anything spoilering, I will clearly indicate it and provide a break so that you have to click on the post to actually read it to the end.
Because i know the pain when someone spoil you the plot and ruin all fun and surprises you could experience.
With Resident Evil 9 spoilers beginning to spread online, I want to let you know that my account will remain completely spoiler-free regarding any leaks or details about RE9. I'll be sharing a lot of content related to RE9 in the coming days (and I promise you, none of it is spoilers 🫶),
Before I forget! I ask that with any of my posts especially those about Resident Evil 9 you refrain from commenting any spoilers about the game. I want to create a spoiler-free space out of respect for those who haven't experienced it yet, including myself.
I look forward to making jokes and content about the game soon but for now I’m putting it on pause until everyone gets to experience it for themselves I wouldn’t want to spoil it for someone else. 🤭💅🫶
