More Judge Frollo rendering practice, I decided to go more semi-realistic this time :V

Rendering Practice with Frollo

For 1 it's basically just how I usually render, with 2, I used new brushes and just colored everything in one layer, I think it comes out a lot better this way lol

So fun fact, for years, I’ve been drawing using the greyscale technique where I do my sketch, then shade in grayscale, and then use gradient maps to correct the colors at the end

Uhm turns out that way of doing things is extremely tedious lol, it tends to muddy colors even if you correct it, and takes up SO many layers, I’m getting sick of it tbh

So I’m not gonna do that anymore, I’m gonna try and just go straight in with color to avoid having to deal with gradient map hell

Hopefully that changes my art style for the better since I don’t like it very much at the moment lol

i downloaded a million procreate brushes and decided to try oil painting. i had a bunch of work to finish, but i just couldn't fucking resist. "the hunchback of notre dame" cracked me up again when i wasn't expecting it. you have no idea how much i love this cartoon, so i decided to dedicate this art to one of the most beautiful songs in this movie.

and now i'm off to finish the rest of wips…

Judge Frollo in his dusty robes

(I meant to post this earlier but I didn’t know what to do with the background

So I slapped chibi Frollo on there, that seemed to work)

I am a bit busy at the moment but ZELDA TWILIGHT PRINCESS PC PORT CAME OUT RECENTLY !! Yay !! I felt inspired to draw Ordon Link in his wolf form bc of it :D

I'm very excited for the new mods it'll bring so I can replay it again :P

I did a few studies beforehand so that this drawing of him fits more of his canon style

(Since I feel like how I drew him last didn't really look too much like him)

I still can’t ignore how Frollo named his horse Snowball, it’s like the interpretation of Hades naming his 3 headed dog “Spot”

This is judge Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame! I couldn’t help myself… I really want to squish his hat, it looks so soft. It would be perfect as a plush pillow.

I think this little chibi is adorable—I just want to squish it so much🥺…
