"Apparently you are. What do ya want anyways? Your pets not fun enough?"
"Well, darling, you're not hard to miss."
"Pets? My clients aren't the ones with fleas."

"Apparently you are. What do ya want anyways? Your pets not fun enough?"
"Well, darling, you're not hard to miss."
"Pets? My clients aren't the ones with fleas."
"If ya keep staring like that I am going to have to start charging ya a fee."
Oh, hush. No one is looking your way.
"I hope you are lost, and not looking for something…"
"It depends. Is there something worth being found?"

Well, there's a face that only a mother could love.
She spoke slowly taking extra care with her words around the man that had been assisting her with improving her English. “Fuck you, Rowan. Ladies come for miles.”
A soft smile rested on Isaac's lips as Bo spoke with clarity, "Oh, darlin' they aren't the sort of women you want to be spending time with."
Well, there's a face that only a mother could love.
I could lend a hand behind the bar...
It’s Cat. And yours, Sir?
I'm Rowan.
I could lend a hand behind the bar...
I presume that’s enough for me.
Well, m'dear, have you a name?
I could lend a hand behind the bar...
And here I was, thinking that you were. What an awful start on this day.
Only for a fee, otherwise you must settle for enjoying my presence.
I could lend a hand behind the bar...
Shame, would have been a entertaining sight.
Oh darling, I'm not here for your entertainment.
I could lend a hand behind the bar...
Try to seduce the one who’s standing behind the bar, and you will even get it for free.
I'm not one for seducing my coworkers.
I could lend a hand behind the bar...
It isn't beyond difficult.
”Wouldn’t mind spendin’ my evenin’ with you,” Silas says plainly enough. Money well spent he reckoned as he fished out a dollar from his back pocket. It was unpleasant to think that it’d been so long and he was so desperate that now he was paying for the company. Too late to turn back now as he places the bill at the nightstand and returns to warmth he’s been craving longer than he can recall. Even for such a steep price, there’s not an ounce of regret in his veins as he drags his teeth along warm skin and draws Isaac in close.
”Right for you t’laugh,” he breathes out from where he’s nipping along the line of the man’s jaw. “Been a while.” Still he remembers how to get those layers of fabric out of the way. Better still it’s like muscle memory backing Isaac up towards the bed with hungry kisses that end with a bite here and there. “Figure you’d speak up if I was going too quick or too wrong,” comes out from where his mouth is busy worrying an ear lobe between his teeth. The shirt is the first thing to go so hands can wander unhindered. In the end a palm cups the curve of Isaac’s spine while the other cradles the curve of his throat. Just a duck of his head has him licking and kissing his way into the other’s mouth.
He eyed the money carefully, making sure that Adam set down where he could see it, and then allowed himself to be pulled closer. In the beginning, when everything was still new to Isaac, there had been some nervousness when it came to clients. He hid it well, sometimes it even worked to his advantaged, but he had come a long way since he first entered the brothel. It all came so easily now, the exchange of looks and money, fingers trailing each others skin, nothing was left untouched or unexplored. Sex was a matter of business.
As routine as it may have been, Isaac couldn't deny that he was enjoying himself. Perhaps it was the thrill of getting a client on his own, or the fact that Adam seemed to know what he was doing, but whatever it was he didn't want it to stop. His lips curled, it may have been awhile since Adam had fallen into bed with another man but it didn't seem like he had forgotten how things worked. "No, it's fine. Keep goin'." Isaac can't help that his back curves in as Adam's hand graces his spine. As the other man's tongue reaches his own, Isaac can't control his wandering hands as he reaches for Adam's belt buckle.
"I don’ care who covers it or who doesn’. I just want it done ya twit. You think ya know everything about me but yer just like the rest. Idiotic and assuming shit ya don’ know anything about. And ya never do anything Isaac so I don’ know what yer problem is. I have lads coming to me regularly before this whole mess destroyed our home. Yer such a selfish prat though only wanting ter care about yer own ass. And that pet of yers. I am tired of yer attempts to bring me down because it doesn’ work."
"Ya don’ give a shit about me or anyone else in this place so stop pretending like ya even want ter care. Go back to that dank hole of yours and leave the work to the women. Since ya can’ be bothered to dirty yer precious fingers with cleaning or anything else fer that matter."
"And yet it is you who is making asinine assumptions about how I feel, I do believe you're the pot calling the kettle black. I am not going to sit here and argue with you. If you're looking for a fight then perhaps you should place a bet on one of those boxing matches because I will have none of it here."
"The only person who can bring you down is yourself. I was merely stating facts. I help run the books, and Vera owns this brothel. If it upsets you, well then, that isn't my concern. I can't shield you from the truth."
Isaac gathers his stuff and brushes against Ava as he passes by, "Now, if you don't mind, I'd rather be where the air doesn't taste of lifelong regret and despair. Good'day." He doesn't turn back as he leaves for his bedroom.
"I am naught craky ya rat. And it is naught that difficult as it is yer job. Naught to sit on yer ass and do nothin’."
"Darling, if you haven't noticed, there is still construction going on. There's no books to balance if no one is coming in. As for repairs, those expenses have been dealt with and quite frankly, it's none of your business."
"It isn't exactly your place to tell me what to do either. Vera is in charge here, not you. I've been doing a helluva a lot more than you lately. All you seem to do is wander around here moaning and groaning, it's tiring."
"No, I just want me money. Don’ you have a book ter balance or a lad to play with?"
"Rather difficult to balance a book at this time. As for a lad, never mind that. As I'm not the one crankier than a badger being poked with a stick."
