Isaac always felt like he said the wrong thing, but he didn’t. He always said the most perfect, beautiful things. And this was no different. “Thank you,” was all she managed to squeek out as his sobs only made hers come harder. She squeezed around him tighter as he started the code. Their code. The code that meant extra lives…that she’d be okay…that he loved her. Because even when the words weren’t exact…Cheyenne always knew what he felt. “Down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, b, a start.”
Ike sniffed, trying to hold back tears but it wasn't working. He was being selfish again and he knew it. He was leaving Joey, Jeff and Chey to fend for themselves while he ran off to do what was easier once again. But he couldn't do it anymore and he knew that he'd made the right choice. Either way, the U-haul would be here in the morning and his airplane ticket was already bought. "You'll be alright. I love you Ennie," he said, letting out a slow breath. "I- I should go...be a good girl." He hugged her tight again and gave her a nod, trying to dry his tears before he went back into the hall. "So brave, " he whispered as he gave his sister one last look and then walked out the door.
PM: You're leaving...?
PM: Yeh, I am
PM: Of course. As much as I possibly can. We…said I love you.
PM: That's great! Congrats! She's a really good sub.

She wanted to be mad. But more than anything, she was scared. Ike was her safety net. She knew he’d always be there if she needed him - if she needed to forget, if she needed to be dommed, if she needed to play video games until 6 in the morning. Now what was she going to do? “Of course you helped me. You spawned this whole ‘girl power’ thing. I wouldn’t have the ability to try to be strong if it wasn’t for you,” she said between sniffs and into her brother’s shirt. She finally stepped back only enough to see his face. “You’re not nothing. You’ve never been nothing,” she said quietly. She shook her head at his words, “I’m not strong or resilient. It’s not strength, it’s lack of option. And I hope I find someone like that all the time…but I only have a year, Ike.” She shook her head, not wanting to go into that. It wasn’t what this was about. She wrapped her arms around her twin’s neck again, burying her face into the crook of it. “I love you Isic.”
Ike closed his eyes, trying not to show how weak he felt in this moment. There was never a question as to who was the strongest of the three of them, it had always been Chey. And he felt like an asshole for giving up, for leaving when she'd been expected to deal and handle things. "You are Ennie. You're the strongest person I've ever known. You bounce back. And you'll bounce back from anything...I won't let you go to market, I swear to God, I won't. You are safe, okay? You find someone that treats you right and makes you happy, and if you don't, I'll be there. I'm done being a coward, I'm done letting people hurt you. I won't let it happen again...I love you too Ennie, so much." He held her tight, his body betraying him as he sobbed into her hair. "Up Up" he whispered.
PM: You're leaving...?
PM: Yeh, I am
PM: I’ll make sure I hang out with him, Ike.
PM: Good. Keep Dani safe too, okay?
Text: Hey.
Text: Heya.
Text: What?
Text: I can't do this anymore. I can't take it. I gotta bounce. I'm sorry that I was never enough for you. I hope you find what you're looking for.
PM: You're leaving...?
PM: Yeh, I am
PM: Yeah…of course. Thank you…you know…for being my first friend. Like ever. We’ll have to still have game nights okay? I have met Joey. He’s a great guy.
PM:You're a cool girl, keep your head up. Of course, you have my gamertag. You should hangout with him, he's a good gamer and I think you guys would get alone.
PM: You're leaving...?
PM: Yeh, I am
PM: No, it’s fine. I get it. You don’t have to be sorry. I’ve only known you like…a couple months, right? No big deal.
PM: It's a lot more than anyone knows. But..thank you. For being my friend and not judging me. You actually made this place a lot more bearable. Have you met Joey? I bet you guys would get alone great.

She stood in complete shock for several moments, trying to take in what Ike was saying, but didn’t think she was getting anywhere. “You’re….you’re leaving?” The tears burned in her eyes as he spoke. He couldn’t be serious, could he? “No….” she said softly. She was barely holding it together and when Ike’s arms came around her it was over. She buried her face into his should, taking a couple good hits into his chest. “It’s not fair! I had to stay here. I fought through it…for you, Ike! You don’t get to do this! You don’t get to hate me, then love me, then help me and be everything I’ve ever wanted in a brother and then leave! Everybody leaves!”
Chey's words cut deep and Ike's eyes filled with tears. He knew that this would hurt her, it's why he had come over instead of doing it over the internet, but it was what was best. He had made his decision and now he had to deal with the consequences. "I- I helped you?" The idea that he'd been able to be an asset to anyone caught him off guard. "Ennie...I'm sorry but I have to. If I stay...I'm not sure I'd- I just have to go. I'm not like you. You don't need me. You have friends and you'll be alright. I'm nothing. I have nothing here. Not everyone leaves, and really, you know where I'll be. I won't let you leave here alone, I promise. You will be alright. You will be the strong, resilient girl that I know you are and you will find someone to serve and take care of you. I know you will." He hated to make her cry, but he knew that this was the best thing for both of them. Since getting here he'd only made things worse on his sister.

PM: Sorry. I just have to get out of here.

Cheyenne furrowed her eyes as she watched her brother acting insanely nervous. He was never like this around her, so worried, fidgety - so vulnerable. She shut the door and turned to look at him as he turned back to her. His words hit her like a rock as she swallowed hard. “What do you mean…you’re leaving?”
"I'm going to go live with mom. Maybe I'll try a school out there by her or something. But...I just can't do this anymore. I've been feeling all, well, like shit and this place isn't helping. I told you that you had to let go of that stuff with dad and I need to too. But I can't do it here. I need a fresh start. I need to go get my head right or I'll never be able to be anyone's Dom." Ike swallowed and took a step forward pulling Chey into his arms. "I'm sorry Ennie, really. I just- you're stronger than me, you can get right here with your friends and Jeff. I can't. I have to go. Plus, mom needs the help."

[opens the door and leans against the frame.] Well damn, that was quick. Come in then.
Isaac sighed, waiting for Chey answer and having no idea how he was going to tell her. "Hey, " he said simply, stepping inside and looking around her room. It was obvious which side of the room was hers even though he'd never been here before. "So, um," he started, running his hand through his hair and scratching at the back of his neck. "I don't really know how to say this, so I'm just gonna say it. I'm leaving."
